The INNO medium rack fairing fits perfectly. The other name brands don't offer adapters that will allow their fairings to fit the very wide OEM crossbars. So... INNO medium it is!

I had some wires sticking out of my taped up trunk because I couldn't get a connecter through the hole without destroying it.. So for a few days my car looked pretty bad in the back but the rain didn't come in the taped up holes.

Oh and they warned me that it may not stick, and it may possible chip off before they did it. I told them I trusted them to do the best they could, and that if it did chip off, I'd just give them another 50 bucks to try again. It has lasted through countless hot days, cold days, snow storm, car washes etc..

I forgot to add I was also having them paint my front tow-hook cover, and the price for that was 50 bucks (it was brand new- black plastic), then I asked him about the rear chrome and he just same "same price".. So it was more than just that piece.

They might charge you a hundred or so, or maybe less than 50.. Worth a shot to ask though. It'll look better than anything you can do with rattle can, that's for sure.

Does caliper paint actually allow you to stop more? I heard through the grapevine that caliper makes the world stop.

WTF damn that sucks! sorry to hear

Shouldn't it be totaled assuming the car was already a "salvage" title?

It's all in the tires not your calipers. A STI on all seasons would take longer to come to a stop than our 2.5i on summers. I know it's so often overlooked but the part of the vehicle that makes contact with the road is very important. I know we all love our AWD but to be honest all it does in the snow is help accelerate, the right rubber helps you stop and maneuver safely.

They are discontinued Bremmer kraft BR05 17x8.

The new Bremmer Kraft BR09 are the replacements that look almost the same. They come in black too.. I guess they were made by "ASA"..

Sometimes these Tire Rack links don't work.. but anyway..

+1 on the free time. Going for one last drive before its parked for a month. Taking the rallisoprts off today to send them out for another coating, should be back just in time for 5 days of body work set in October.

That makes for a month of walking, biking and driving the gf's matrix to work.

Think that's bad? My toy is parked for 3 months or so but, keeping the miles down is nice!
