Default Do the 04+ front seats fit the 02-03?

Do the 04+ front seats fit the 02-03? Has anybody done that before? If so please post some pictures... I don't really like the back support of my 02 seats and I'm debating with myself if i should wait and get STi seats or get those 04's

Thanks!

Any of the 02-05 seats are 100% interchangeable, including the door panels, rear seats and STi seats.

I put a complete 04 interior in my 03 and it fit fine. Sorry, no picts though.

If you get the rear seat and door panels everything will match. Otherwise it might be a little off since the 02/03 interior is blue tinted and 04+ is solid black.

Also the fabrics are a little different. 02/03 uses a soft plush kind of material on the black parts, where the 04+ uses a more sport bucket style material.

Honestly, you could make it work. It wouldn't look all that bad. Or you could dye the dark blue parts of the 02/03 interior black.

might as well swap everything out. the 02/03 interior is butt ugly and the 04+ seats wouldn't matcht he 02/02 fabrics very well. here is a shot of the 04 interior in my 02. it is a complete swap, front/rear seats and door pannels. everything fits right in without a problem.

honestly I don't think the 04 interior is *that* much prettier than the 02/03 that justifies myself to spend that money for a complete swap. The seats felt more comfortable thou and that's why I wanted to give it a shot... i'm just hoping it doesn't look completely out of place. I mean, ppl fit Recaro or Bride seats in black in an 02/03 and never say they're out of place LOL.

Are you going for appearance, or do you actually want a better seat? As far as my experience, both seats suck for fit, comfort, support, etc.

Go aftermarket.

better seats... i just thought the 04+ fits me better.
The other concern i have is the side airbags that the stock seats have vs the aftermarket ones. I thought about getting the STi ones but last time I tried the STi seats I thought they're a little too big for me. I'm just 5'9" 160lbs and there're too much room around my waist... maybe i should gain some weight instead haha
