well i went to the track this weekend. it was a 2 day event hosted my maperformance at BIR in minnesota.

first run of the day was my best eventhough i was only running 16psi. the second day i turned the boost up to 25psi but i couldn't launch worth ****. at 26 psi the car made 493whp on the virtual dyno. turbo is a bw 83-75 twin scroll.

car# is 1596

here is a video of the run

My car was fuel cutting on this time slips pass. I pulled a hell of a 60ft though. It should've been a 7. Second pass with at least 85-87mph but it was fuel cutting in every gear above 5600 rpms. I usually 60ft between 1.6x-1.7x but the clutch actually held and the car didn't spin.

Here it is...

I went to the strip for lack of anything better to do a few weekends ago. I'm more of an auto-x and rally-x guy, but I was curious to see what my car could do. I ended up running a 12.9 on a 98 degree day with a heat soaked IC(they bitched me out for spraying it). I'm pleased with the time, especially considering the conditions and that my car is relatively conservatively tuned.

and here's a copy/paste of my power mods.
Power:
VF48 turbo
3***8243; HKS downpipe(wrapped)
3***8243; Dual Tip Maddad Whisper cat back
44mm Tial EWG
Grimmspeed 3 port BCS
Hallman Pro RX MBC (hybrid boost control)
Turboxs EWG up pipe(wrapped)
Process West top mount intercooler
TGV deletes
DIY intercooler splitter
DIY intercooler water sprayer
Catch can
Short ram intake(APS MAF housing with big K&N filter)
Intake duct from fog light bezel and cold air box
Walbro 255 fuel pump

First time at the strip tonight and didn't do too bad although I need to work on my shifting and launching harder.

I was in the left lane

I need to learn to launch a little bit better to get my 10.xxx slip .

Track: Great Lakes Dragway
Temp: ~55deg

Car: 2003 WRX
Mods: Built EJ205 with EJ207 heads and Tomei cams (8k rev limit), EWG HTA Green, self tuned on 100 octane. 07 STi 6 speed and a little bit of weight removal.

Unfortunately it was pretty busy with Real Street Drags going that night so I only got one good pass and never got to successfully try a more aggressive launch .

09 WRX Stage 2.

Mods:
Grimmspeed EBCS
Drop in K&N Filter
Invidia Catless DP
Invidia N1 Catless Resonated Exhaust
Perrin Short Shifter- Set to 61mm
Stock/factory tires with 18+k on them.
Conservative Pro Tune - AMS

Temp was in the upper 50s about 11:15pm

Please disregard my reaction time, I was not going for that. It was my first time ever at the track and I was focused on my ET. I have other slips with way better reaction times. This was my 5th run of the day, and the last one. My first run was a 13.98

I will be going to the track again next sunday, I hope to see 12.5 if not 12.4.

I believe temps were in the 60's that day.

This is my best run before I was tuned for the cutout. I ran after getting tuned, but my clutch started slipping and I couldn't get better than a 12.7

I was in the right lane. (Left was a 99 viper)

What's the efficiency percentage and spool rpm of this bw on 26 psi also what's max boost and how do you like this turbo, I.e. does it seem to big or perfect or what?

I would say temp. was in the lower 50's at 9:00 PM

I am happy with the time but my trap speed tells me I should be getting my time a little lower (I think?). Maybe with new tires I'll do a little better (mine are at the end of their life).

Went to TMP today and managed to get a couple of passes in before getting rained out.

Went 12.89 @ 104.46 with a 1.82 sixty (spinning on snow tires!)

Full weight with 1/3rd tank of gas.

Running the stock intake now instead of my AEM CAI. (Way lower IATs with the stock intake)

Cobb downpipe and stage 2 93 octane OTS tune (off the shelf tune)

Also received a raincheck when it started pouring.

I'm pumped! :d

(Sorry for the blurry pic)

Wow. That's actually pretty bad....somethings wrong there. What are your shift points? Spinning tires? Bad clutch? You should be 13.5 or lower and 100mph...

Here's my pathetic slip. I was only able to get one run in before they closed, and I haven't drag raced in 4 years. Stage 2 EJ205, stock TD04, Walbro 255, 800cc modded stockers, Process West TMIC, Grimmspeed EBCS, E85 Cobb protune by Jorge. I couldn't get my hands on E85 this time of year, so I ran E70. I also had a passenger onboard. That's all the excuses I can think of.
