^ My guess is he was confusing Subaru with Suzuki, which filed for bankruptcy and was going to stop selling cars in the USA

Lol just read that thread, and someone posted about dumping their Suzuki that was worth $16000 a month ago and is now worth $7000 or something.... Off-Topic is funny.

SP: Nice car man, it looks fast.

Me: Thanks, it's still stock but it does alright.

SP: What's the fastest you've gone in it?

Me: A little over 90.

SP: Really? *breaks out ticket book* Well I don't know of anywhere with a 90 MPH speed limit. I think we...

Me: Really? Well, we run autocross at the sheriff's track a couple times a month. You should come out some time. Feel free to bring your little book and a RADAR gun with you.

SP: Ahr, I-ya... heh, I was joking.

Me: Yeah. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they had been screwing with people all day. I guess they'd never heard of people taking a car to a track.

I'm thinking "What the hell just happend."

They also can't write a ticket just because you say you did a certain speed.

Had my dad checking my car for the first time. He kept looking from different angles then asked "What color is it? Blue or and off purple?"

Also had a toll booth lady say how she loved the color.

The WRB paint is really awesome

Sold my WRX a year and a half ago (so I am VERY familiar with the comments), picked up an LGT this week, it has a cat back and that's about it.

So far this week I have gotten "Do a burnout" twice and "That's a Subaru?!?!" three times.

I sure did miss that...

Stopped at the gas station and overheard some kid talking to his girlfriend when i went in to prepay... Apparently he didn't think I deserve my car (which is just an outback sport) and said my rich parents must have bought it for me and I don't deserve to drive it. A few minutes later I noticed his GF staring at me while i was pumping my gas, so I turned to him and said your girlfriend doesn't seem to mind.

Never seen someone shut up so fast.
