Good points certainly

Hopefully, by next spring it will be a 9 second Evo and a 9 second Subaru

This is my old buy eye from September 2004 at the East Coast Shootout, I really miss that car a lot. It took me a long time to build a machine that rivals it as a fast street car. I am still not sure that the 2.5 L is superior, the 2.0L STI C spec of my bug eye is still running strong in another member's car - that is one amazing factory motor.

Action Bro! you need to do the same!

You over 8 thousand views and your last couple of pages, it's like your writing a love story, a diary, a poem or something...

The next time honestly and will all do respect... when I read your next post I want to see a time slip, not a weather report.

Billy I'm not braking your chops, but your post here was OT and uncalled for.

Good luck with your whip!

Action BRO.. With all do respect my BONE stock motor, old style 6spd, and 500whp tune actual trap 102 to the 1/8th, compared to Al's 100 with 570+whp. I happen to let off on that pass. I also picked up 29-30mph on the back half on my other passes I am sure if I had a 07+ gear box I would go right into the 10s as I am pretty close to it even having to shift to 5th.

On a side note how is the ICS RECORD DYNO 08 STI, or The Bad Bish doing? Action BRO!! Practice what you preach BRO. BTW I drive my car to and from the track. Not 1 broken stock axle.

And 337x2 is 674 Al (Sumans car on you tube) lol

Back On topic
Congrats Al for finally getting into the 10s!

Good for you it's about time! I do not have the time to work on my own car. Believe it or it's crazy busy even in this economy.

I'm happy for you, next time don't need have someone log into your account to respond to my post, we both know who did.

Keep it coming, I hope I inspired you and your tuner to get your car to the track rather than write your diary here on Nasioc!

Thank you for the inspiration! I will have my STI completed very soon.

Practice what I preace??? I'm not the one with an 8-9 page love diary about my Subaru? You have not seen me here posting about my cars or projects, so whats your point? Next time if you decide to post, please do it yourself.

BTW Al went 11.1 on his stock motor already, on a stock ECU.

No matter how fast you go if you conduct your self without any class , you are still a looser.

BTW, I went 11.1 on the stock engine, trans and edu a year ago.

No big deal.

Please stay out of my threads and hate elsewhere. ***********

Yea right before it blew up huh. I'm still driving my car with the stock engine and 40k miles 20k on Jr's tune. BTW still have the same clutch in the car that you burnt to crap on the Dyno and your little joy ride.

I have been inspired to go to the track. Jr hasn't touched the car since June when it was tuned.

I've also been very busy working my full time job during the week and my side job's on the weekend. I'm trying to build this Extra block I have money doesn't fall off tree's.

He may have went 11.1 but he didn't trap 102 in the 1/8 and 127 in the 1/4 on the stock engine.

And about the 8-9 page thing it's actually 6. But will let it slide since we all know you guys are illiterate.

And it's simply that long from people posting what they think of my car and people saying what a great tuner Jr is. Don't hate my friend.

What's 337x2

It seems that your principal motivation is hate and toxic energy.

I pursue my goals with my car for my own personal enjoyment and satisfaction and I have no desire to try and tear down others and make insults in the process.

A few clarifications for your reference

First, the engine in my car never blew up, it ran 129 mph at the track and then went to another independant dyno jet to verify my claimed power level which it did. Thereafter, I elected to upgrade the motor and used the same block, crank and heads as the basis of my project.

If I was not babying my STI out of the hole this week, it would have been going mid 10's and that is on pump gas. When i get around to upgrading the fuel system and injectors to feed this beast it will be making significantly more power and that is where the fortified engine internals will start to yeild fruit.

Secondly, if I burned up your clutch it is obvious that you would not be still drag racing it over a year later. I am sure that any inteligent, unbiased, observer will note the stupidity of your most recent slander.

Again, I request kindly that you please keep out of my thread and spew your insults and negative comments elsewhere.

Thanks

I have accomplished many things in my life and have been VERY successful at it.

13 BMW's featured in magazines. As far as mentioning your name Junior, it was not brought up, your name was never written in the previous post.

I am done here, I do not want Al's thread to be poluted any more than it has.

I do not have a problem with Billy, nor you.

It's time for me to get back to work and accomplish more in my life!

I find it odd that the clutch is lasting so long lol.

All I can say is when you got back with the car and told me to take if for a ride I got in it and pushed the clutch pedal in to start it and it felt like a stock clutch in a Honda civic lol.

I had to let it cool off in order to get and pedal.

But anyhow congrat's on your 10 second run's we should all get together and have are own little shoot out at the track.

People often take for granted how difficult it can be to drive these cars well. IMO, thats some very nice driving I saw in that video. I had to turn the volume down but very good, 'car friendly' driving. Nice Nice job.
Im with Al, a lot of us do this for our own pleasures. indeed he has a business to keep representing but I think Al conducts himself well on the forum.

Yea It is very hard to drive the older gear box tranny's with this amount of power but he has 07 gear's 1-2nd is still a pain. You can see where he messed up 1-2nd shift.

I also think Al made a big turn around since last year. As far as how he conduct's himself. Good job Al.

Thanks for the kind words.

Driving a Subaru with a lot of power fast enough to go 10's without breaking it is always a challenge. When you only get a couple of passes per track before they throw you out it makes it even more chalenging as you dont get a lot of attempts to adjust the two step and tire pressure to track conditions.

At the end of the day I recomend the process to everyone who owns a Subaru its a really rewarding and enjoyable process. Back in '02 it was an 11 second pass that I wanted and I will never forget the feeling of satisfaction when I finally achieved that goal at the epic Subaru Shootout.

In some ways I am even more satuified doing 10's as it was on pump gas and how I drive the car every day.

Soon, hopefully, the car will be going 9's

Certainly, it would now fare very well against all the Evos at a WRX vs EVO event and that was my goal with this car since day one.

Al
