Default Moving to Central Mass

I used to live in Hopkinton, MA, got relocated out to the Poughkeepsie, NY area, and now my company wants me back. My office is in Milford, MA, I didn't know if anyone knew of any apartments (large 1 or 2 bedrooms) available in the next couple of months for my wife and I. I've been scouring craigslist and other types of apartment search sites, but didn't know if anyone had any in's regarding apartments. Thanks!

PS: I think maybe they run a road race (where people actually run... ON FOOT!) there once a year? Not sure.

I do the plumbing for a property management company and they own a building in uxbridge(next to milford) that usually has a unit or 2 available. Look up mc properties out of upton/natick. The owner matt may have some units available in upton as well

You could live in Woonsocket. I don't know why you'd want to, though.

I second Uxbridge. Large town, nice area, and always an apartment for rent if that's what's you're looking for instead of a house rental. You DEF don't wanna live in Milford lol...

I don't want to live in Woonsocket, no offense to any woonsocketans. But these are good suggestions. I'm researching places next weekend. Hope everyone is alright in the snow!

My wife is from Uxbridge. Her parents still live there, so we visit a couple times a year. And...that's the end of my story.

It's a bummer because I left at the end of last year, and we had a nice sized apartment that may have worked well for you. Landlord owned, and he was a nice easy going guy. 4 units in one house, but everyone kept to themselves, pretty much.

Now living at Franklin Landings (http://www.franklinlandings.com/), Exit 16 or 17 off 495 (it's almost halfway between the two exits, so it just depends where you're coming from). Heat/HW included, pet-friendly (which was why we moved here), pool/hot tub, small 'gym' (it's adequate and I've never been in there with anyone else). Your choice of FIOS OR Xfinity. We really like the location, but YMMV. Let me know if you're interested and I can get you in touch w/ the leasing agent... that way I can get a cool referral bonus, lol.

I wasn't impressed with anything in Milford when we looked a couple years ago.

Have you looked into Bellingham? The Jefferson complex is nice, but pricey from what I've seen. Depends what you're looking for and what location would be ideal, I guess.

I'm glad I don't live someplace that is described as an exit off a highway. I'm also glad there's a brewery 3 minutes from my house.
