question
I have a question. First here's some details. 2007 sti has a 2010 front brake system and I want to change it back to the original system. Now my question is how and where can I get the original part and how to fix it

1.) you need to make better, more descriptive thread titles instead of just "question". that doesn't get people to click your thread to even give you an answer.
2.) 2010 WHAT front brakes. 2010 sti front brakes? the only real difference is the color and possibly the rotor size (a difference of a few mm). it makes no sense as to why you'd want to go back to stock, as you'll spend a bunch of money to get the exact same product you already have. |

It's because I ordered 07 suspention and I put them on my car and the front ones won't go on because its to big where the bottom of the suspention where it goes to the axel

Calipers and rotors are the same (except the color). You have another problem and it's not the brakes.

It sounds like he is trying to put WRX struts on a STi. Not sure though.
OP how about some pictures or at least tell us the problem using the correct names for what you are talking about. |

You have the original 07 stuff. The struts are wrong.

you already have the hubs that originally came on your car....Swapping parts will do NOTHING for you. SOMETHING is wrong, and it aint the hubs. most likely is you got the wrong struts. judging by your responses, you might just want to take it to a shop and let the pro's handle it...... |

What kind of struts are they? I'm sure they sent you wrx struts or perhaps you ordered the wrong struts.
Only the 2004 STi can use wrx struts. 2005-07 STi's can NOT use wrx struts. |

Stop posting as confirm via part numbers you got the right struts. It is not your hub unless something is bent or broken.... |

There is NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR 07 PARTS. You need to get the correct version of coilovers that fit your '07 knuckles. |

Again, is it a WRX Tein front strut, or a STI? The WRX has narrower mounting clevis than the '05-'07 STI.
One way, or another it sounds like you have the wrong struts. Your knuckles are fine. |

Listen to Web Foot STi. The mounting clevis on a 07 Wrx (5x100) is different on an 07 Sti (5x114). The STi is bigger.

You need to contact the whoever sold you the Tein coilovers and tell them they sent you the wrong version. Tell them you need STI coilovers, not WRX coilovers, and exchange them. |
