I was watching the video and thought, "Hey, this guy seems REALLY surprised at just how well the car is handling. He might actually be ENJOYING it because I think I see a smile forming there, just maybe..." Then the final review says otherwise! Bah humbug!

Am I the only person that noticed these little nuances and inconsistencies or am I just craycray?
Obviously EVO's testing the 6AT hurt the car, but *every* other***65279; review I've watched/read has piled on accolades for the BRZ's driving dynamics... and it looked stable and predictable in the other videos. For instance:

And EVO couldn't get the back end to play? Even Consumer Reports was able to get the back end to play:

Consumer. Reports.

I dunno why EVO directly contradicts the otherwise unanimous sea of glowing reviews, but I suppose it doesn't matter. This kind of car isn't for everyone and even if I'd watched/read 70 awesome and 0 negative reviews (rather than 69 awesome and 1 negative reviews), I'd still be test driving the BRZ before buying.

I don't normally follow this thread, but I was in Miami last week and I saw one of these in my hotel's parking structure. Interior looks nice, but otherwise, all it made me feel was nostalgic for the 96 Prelude Si - even with being fwd. The front clip seems to be over cooked IMHO... what ever happened to quiet low key classy looks over looking too boy racerish?

what do you guys say about the fact that in the UK, according to them, the Megane and BRZ are similarly priced? I know that for OPTIMAL performance, the BRZ was at a disadvantage(eco-tires, AT, and who knows what else), but could it be that EVO's argument is that AS IS, from factory, the Megane is more of a bang-for-your-buck car? Have any of you also read their comparo against the MX-5, 370Z, and I believe the Megane? again, other magazines drove the same(or similar) cars on that same Napoleon route, but had something totally different to say. Hmm. I don't know what to make of this..smells like something fishy

Depends on what one defines "bang-for-your-buck" as, doesn't it.

There is a whole world of people who can properly say my decision to trade a well-modded 2011 STi Limited as throwing away that very thing for a puny, underpowered weakling.

Personally, I'd never waste a dime on that mag after such ignorance in "journalism." Look deeper into what their so-called comparo was based on, and see if ANY of it makes sense in perspective to the real world.

Ignorant, unprofessional, and self-serving begin the list.

Um, yeah, like the sneakers I remember from 20 years ago with the built in air pump, for the perfect fit? Pin stripped blue jeans from circa ~1982? The Delorean? That front bumper cover is fugly, IMHO, and looks like something Subie picked up on E-Bay.
