It's the V-Limited one from eBay. Should be able to find it for close to $100.

That's the plan. I got it for free, so I can't complain. So far it's doing pretty well! Takes a beating on my driveway, though. Might not hold up during winter...

Here's a new video I did. 3rd gear pulls. 50-100mph is in the 4.6-4.7sec range. Not quite as good as if I used 2nd gear, but not far off!

In my mind it is keeping my car in better shape by keeping dirt off the sides. Idk if it really does anything though.

Great looking car man, I've been following it since the winter. I have a 2011 myself putting in a turbo and fmic and supporting mods real soon. But with all the new power I'm going to need coil overs any advice?

I'd start putting away for a new motor first. You don't need coilovers. I don't have them.

Any turbo bigger than stock and you're likely to crack a piston. It's just a matter of time. Building a block with forged pistons would be minimum, but if you're going through all that work then rods/bearings/etc all make sense to do as well.

Okay I did think about internals but honestly didn't look into it too much, I didn't think they were that necessary if I got a conservative tune for now. I know all cars are different but what power to the wheels do you reckon is safe for our cars on stock internals? I'm asking because for now I'm commuting everyday with the car but I know down the road I will do internals and the whole thing.

What turbo are you installing? My car made it a few months on the 20G XTR at ~23psi and ~400WHP and then it cracked a piston. This was on E85. On pump gas I would be even more worried. I'd keep it well under 400WHP if you want it to last.

I'm installing an AMR CXR550 turbo..and yes for now I will be using 93 cause not many stations have e85 yet around me. I'm surprised by that for some reason I thought the stock pistons could handle that power level.

That turbo on pump gas will probably be OK.

EDIT: Actually that turbo is quite a bit bigger than I thought. It's a 30R size, stock location. You could see over 400WHP on pump gas. Easily enough to blow a motor. I'd plan on it happening eventually...

I really appreciate the advice and will seriously consider doing internals the same time I put in the turbo because last thing I want is reliability issues or to run into any problems.

Yeah, if you can't afford down time, I would seriously consider doing both at the same time, or at least having a built shortblock ready to go.

Hey xluben, how do you like your current suspension/brake set up? I'm trying to fix the fade issues with the brakes without buying a BBK and want a stiffer more planted feeling to the car but I don't want to rub or have to grab coilovers, your set up is very close to the set up I was considering. So.. Thoughts?
