If you look at the subaru tech site with all the instruction manuals, it has the manual for putting that PZEV badge under the windshield wiper. Too many badges! BTW, I though all Limited models have the chrome ring around the fog lights? I guess the sport limited doesn't?

There are too man damn badges, haha. They needed to incorporate Impreza Sport together, and make a smaller badge for the symmetrical AWD, 2 is plenty. I'm thinking of de-badging too, it has the subaru logo people can figure it out for themselves.

Default Black Premium with sport mesh grille?

Does anyone have pictures of a black Sport with the sport mesh grille? I should be getting mine in a few weeks, but haven't found any pictures of one. The pictures of the dark grey look great. I imagine it looks fairly similiar, but I'd like actual pictures of a black one if anyone has them. Thanks in advance.

No, there is not. That's not a Sport, it's dark grey metallic, and it doesn't have the sport mesh grille. On the second page, there is a dark grey metallic Sport with the sport mesh grille, but I specifically referred that that one looking good, but requested pictures of a black one. Please read my entire post before responding with your smug comments. Thanks.

There is a dark gray one on the first page, post #27. To me, it is close enough to black that I would consider theoutbackdream right.

While I appreciate your input and concern into the matter, I am specifically requesting pictures of a black Sport with sport mesh grille, if anyone happens to have them. And for the record, post #27, which I saw and specifically referred to in my original post, is on page 2. Perhaps the pages differ depending upon which browser you are using (I'm using Safari), but I doubt it. I don't mind being called out when I'm mistaken, but I'm not mistaken - there are no pictures of a black Sport with the sport mesh grille anywhere in this thread. I was simply asking if anyone had such pictures.

Play nice kids, we're all on the same team.

subie_lawyer, you might be able to find one on the 300 pages of the 'other' thread.

It's close enough. Chances are finding someone with your request is going to be hard to find.

Do you want me to just photoshop it and color it in black? To me that Dark Grey is as good as close as black.

The only difference between what you requested and what I told you was that the Sport model has a two tone paint job. Its going to be a black body with a Dark Grey metallic color that will wrap around the bottom portion of the car.

This is what it will look like, but with a more aggresive body. VERY identical to one that I told you about or linked up^

subie_lawyer, here you go: http://s1210.photobucket.com/albums/cc403/g-omaha/

I remember that G-Omaha had a black 5-door with the sport grille. Took me a while of searching through the thread to find it.

First, dark grey and black are NOT that similar. Perhaps compared to the other colors, they are the most similar. By no means are they mistakable as the same color. Second, the Sport that I am asking about does NOT have a two-tone paint job. I'm asking for pictures of a black one NOT a black / dark grey two-tone one. Again, please read my previous posts before posting snarky comments. And if you don't know what you're talking about, please keep your comments to yourself.

theoutbackdream: If you don't have a picture of the car I'm asking about, you don't have to respond. Responding with a snarky, ignorant, rude comment is quite counter productive to the forums.

If someone does have a picture of a black Sport with a sport mesh grille, I'd appreciate seeing a picture. Thanks in advance.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. That looks sick! Mine won't have the larger rear spoiler or the front under-spoiler. I'm sure the terminology is a little wrong about what exactly they are called.

G-Omaha went all out and decked out his car from the factory/port. Good luck with the car, and just remember that we are all friends. No worries, you'll soon have a brand new car.

Yes, they are pretty similar. The Dark grey is just a shade lighter than the Black, but other than that its VERY similar. Look at the OBS i posted. There is almost no difference, even though the body has black and bumper has Dark grey metallic.

All I am doing is helping, yet you beg for a Black impreza, when the one posted is as close as you may get.

Im still unamused by your posts...

Alright, guys stop the arguing. Keep on topic and stop making things personal.

The bottom line is I got him the pictures he wanted, so leave it at that. Cut the crap.

That's really wierd. G-Omaha has a two tone impreza. You asked to not have a picture of the two tone, but when you are given one, you are ecstatic. This proves the point EVERYONE was making that the colors are so very similar that it wouldn't matter if someone posted the DGM or the OBP version.

You state the colors are not mistakable as the same color, but you yourself made that very mistake.

Your attitude toward those that were trying to make that point shows your stubbornness to accept that some people on here actually know what they are talking about, and maybe you should trust them when they tell you DGM is really close to OBP, at least enough to visualize what the sport grill looks like on either one.

It's kind of hard to tell, since G-Omaha took this pic with a cell phone, but look close and you can see that it is definitely the DGM front bumper, DGM sport mesh grill, and OBP hood:

I wanted to order the OBP version, but because you can only get the tan interior, I decided on the two tone, which led me to pics of G-Omaha's impreza since I also plan on getting the Aero bits (minus the big spoiler) and wanted to see what it would look like.

Yes, Why waste post space, when he could simply go back and look at the picture. Not to mention I even went on google, and less then 5min, I found what he wanted.

Also, Sport means 2 models. Impreza Sport, or the Impreza Outback Sport. He was not clear enough.

Then for the color. Dark Grey metallic and Black is closely related, however, i will admit it is not the same color. BUT the color differation is about 1 shade away. He should simply not act like a girl, and complain, rather accept what he has gotten for help. The chance of finding an impreza sport with the sport grille and black is slim. Even the one posted was a Outback sport.

He should simply take what he got for granted, instead of complain like a little teenage girl.

2012 Outback doesn't have a sport. OBS is no longer, now it's just a 2012 Impreza Sport which is available in 2 tone or solid colors. You're BOTH acting like girls. Let it die.
