We have a guy here that owns a SVX with an STI 6-speed swap, says its pretty straight forward, but he also owns a crazy hybrid wrx and a auto-x 2.5rs and pretty much anything is possible with him. haha. There are many people that do this though, assumiing you have some mechanical ability and know how and a whole bunch of patience it is very possible.

I put an STi Enging and trany into my 1988 GL-10 Wagon.
anything can be done, you just have to want it. i say go for it. i love the SVX, some day i will have one, and at that time, if i have any engine problems, you can bet it will be getting an EJ257 and a 6speed. -=Suberdave=- |

any body dropped a wrx engine into a justy i imagine the tiny size of the car and the power of the engine would make for a great combo

I think it would be cooler to just do a auto to manual swap and build the 3.3
