I have the Mach V Awesome wheels on my 2011 WRX. They are a subtle look, but I like it. I do think there are better looking wheels out there, but none that match the price/weight of these. The only thing close are the RPF1's and I don't like the look.
Here's a shot of mine: More here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...4#post36687424 How do you like the Nameless exhaust on the hatch? How would you describe the sound? How does the overall volume compare to stock? I would like to find a 3" exhaust that is as quiet as stock. I doubt that's possible, but I've heard the Nameless is the closest. |

_________________ I think I've decided on wheels, the NT-03s have grown on me. There is a gb for them in 18x9.5, which seems to be the optimal size for the new wide bodies. This is also one of the lightest in this size, @19.6 lbs. They look great on a wrb gr I saw so I think I'll be happy with them. I've already ordered a set of RCE's Bilstein/Yellows, waiting for those to arrive at the end of the month. Can't wait to get both the suspension and wheels on the car |

My wheels and tires have arrived and have been installed. The RCE Bilstein/Yellows have been delayed again!! O well, here are a couple pics at stock height. They look great in person, I think I made the right choice.
Specs: Wheels: Enkei NT-03, 18x9.5 +40mm 5x100, Flat black Tires: Michelin Pilot Super Sports 265/35/18 Fender Mods: Roll all around Suspension: Stock (for now) better pics Last edited by honestabe; 01-23-2014 at 02:01 PM. |

For those interested in these wheels, or others that have a larger hub bore size, definitely buy hubcentric rings because I am getting vibrations above 65mph with tires that I've been told by IAG are correctly balanced. EDIT: It may not have been the lack of rings, one tire was not correctly balanced.
About the tires: the PSS are incredible, the limit seems to have skyrocketed past any point that I would dare approach on the streets. The grip really is phenomenal and the ride comfort is very good too. Last edited by honestabe; 07-20-2012 at 04:39 PM. |

I've change my mind on suspension, I was on the list for the Bilstein/Yellows but its been about 4 months with no ship date from Bilstein so I'm thinking about coilovers, I'm not that interested in doing Koni's.
Leaning towards these Feal 441 coilovers, not that many reviews yet but Feal seems to have solid knowledge of Subarus, along with a great reputation Updated brief review: I've never owned coilovers before, but I find the ride very nice. It's firm, but not jarring. I have left it at the preset height and preload that Odi gave me, which yielded about a finger gap all around. It handles bumps and dips very well and settles very quickly, which is what I wanted compared to the stock setup, which seemed to float for a while after being excited. Got it aligned at Mach V, camber: F -1.5, R -2.0, zero toe. Last edited by honestabe; 12-16-2014 at 03:18 PM. |

Got a chance to use my dad's DSLR. Here are pics of the car with suspension installed, settled and aligned. It's a great setup, not harsh at all in my opinion. Lots of friends that have driven with me don't complain, maybe they are distracted by the exhaust!

Thanks guys! The wheels+suspension drastically changed the cars appearance.
The seat mod is alright, I can't say its some incredible mod that yields a drastic improvement in how the stock seats feel. It does make a difference though, depending on how many of the hooks you undo/extend. Beware unhooking all of them completely, my back started feeling weird with the lack of support. I have the bottom one still fully hooked in. |

I have the supports removed completely from both of my seats. Feels great. I've gotten many comments from other Subaru owners who say they feel like buckets. No comfort problems for me, but I'm sure that's subjective.

you guys wouldn't by any chance have a picture of the hooks, I was looking at the link supplied and the pictures were gone. I'm sure its self explanatory once i get behind the seat. I just want to make sure.

Nice choice with the red/smoke overlays on WRB. I've got the same on my car. Good taste in mods so far

I have 94,500 miles on my stock struts and about 80,000 miles on them with the Prodrive springs. I was looking at the Tokico D-Specs with either keeping the Prodrive Springs or getting something else but the D-Specs are around $900... :-/ |

Been lazy updating this, made three changes recently:
1. Bought an Anarchy Motive knob from 'besthaticouldo'. It is a beast of a knob and I love it. The positiveness of shift engagement was noticed immediately. I highly, highly recommend looking into getting a heavy knob like this. Powdercoat finish looks flawless to boot. Check out xluben's review for details. 2. Bought an AEM intake from Rally Sport Direct. There are tons of reviews about intakes, my opinion is that power wise I gained nothing, but I really like it because of the sounds and possibly faster spool. The intake makes cools sounds on and off throttle and I don't find it annoying at all. It is slightly loud with the windows up, music off and the exhaust not roaring. Otherwise, it blends in nicely. I can barely hear it with music on. 3. I took a shot on the Greddy catback group buy from RSD. I wanted to like it, based on the deal and the fact that I bought it, but I couldn't handle it. It does drone and is too loud for my tastes when I was just trying to drive around normally. It sounded amazing when getting on it, but otherwise it was too much. In the end, I'm just stage 1 and don't plan on making the car any faster soon, so I took it off. I'm done modding the car for now, I'm happy with it and get plenty of compliments. Maybe I'll do gauges, stage 2 supporting mods and such next year. For now, just hoping for snow this winter . I'm thinking about plasti-dipping the stock wheels white as my winter setup. My buddy just got the Feal 441's for his '04/'05 STi and said he likes them alot (it's only been a week). I'm definitely looking into them. Gotta convince the wife since they are $1400 (maybe tell her it's like $800 ) |
