Crappy cell phone shot... but here's "Nugget" with the cross bars installed. Bike rack's not on in this shot... but I'm glad I opted for the Premium. I like the look of the cross bars better than the side rails & aero cross bars. & these come off/go on in just a few minutes.

4 month's later and they're still holding up. No flickering, LED's for the corner lights.

Default Trunk pictures?

Has anyone put any kind of stereo stuff in the "cargo area" of their 2012 5 doors yet? I'd be interested to see what people are doing with aftermarket subwoofers, etc.

I haven't gotten a chance to check one out at the dealership yet.

I actually hated the new imprezas until I stumbled across this thread, and now i'm reallyyyyyy digging them. I'm currently on my second subaru, an 08 SWP legacy.

Thanks for this thread and thanks in advance for any pictures!

I just started my custom box in the trunk. I am still trying to get a solid mold to work from but will start a build thread once I get a little more into it.

Horror picture, 350miles on the odometer.

My car value went down. my mom(lol, sorry mom) got into an accident. The Econoline driver didn't put his turn signal & rammed into the front bumper. She was on the right lane & only goes right for work.

http://i45.tinypic.com/omwsj.jpg

The left front rim all scratched.
http://i47.tinypic.com/ouxhtf.jpg

The main frame doesn't seem to be damaged I think
http://i48.tinypic.com/v3dqig.jpg

I hope this is part bend is from the front fender.
http://i47.tinypic.com/2r6nwpj.jpg

I wasn't there at the accident, but don't drive the blind spot, especially in Quebec. A lot of drivers don't put their turn signals.

Edited: it's no so good looking at a damaged car. Changed the pic into clickable url.

Those are NOT the kind of Pics we want to see. I will show to my mom. She's helping on financing my new ride and thinks she's gonna get her license after not having one for 20 years so she can drive her self around sometimes. Sorry, granny, ain't gonna happen...no F'in way!!

Sorry for your sorrow dude. Insured? Covered? Are you drunk, cuz you are pretty cool about it!

It's definitly the other driver fault. Actually, it wasn't an Econoline but something more like a Jeep Patriot. He changed lane while not putting his turn signal on a straight line running a bit slower than the maximum speed(30MPH).

He rammed his right side front bumper into the side fender of the Impreza while switching lane. She turned right as soon as she got hit(didn't use brake nor accelerator & braked after she got hit). That's why you see the wheel only being scratched. If she was that bad of a driver, the damage could have been worst. It's the side of the story from my mom.

Yeah, I am insured for whatever happen to the car. We got a rental(Nissan Versa) car while the Impreza is waiting to be inspected(to see who's at fault & the cost) & fixed. She's alright & things happen.

Well, thank goodness your mom's OK. I'm still going to use the pics to show my mom the risks involved with driving, even for a daily driver, let alone someone who hasn't done it for years. The worst part of making an insurance claim on a new car might be that you might never get full value. Hopefully they fix your ride good as new, fresh new wheels, too! I hope you'll keep the forum updated on what the inspectors say regarding the damage, as this is a real world example of how our Imprezas take a fender-bender (or, in this case, a fender-shredder). Good luck!!

It arrived today, 2 days late, but happy none the less. 2.0i 5 speed, Camilla Red 5 door.
Got it home with 15 miles on it, put on the new wheels, 17x7.5 et48, w 215/50/17 Conti ExtremeContacts DWS. Added Door protection molding, and put on the rear wing. Have all season mats, rear cargo tray, rear deck cover, OEM cross bars that will be carrying RockyMounts trays, will put on fogs, 19mm rear sway bar from an STi, arm rest extension, will try to put my 2012 WRX suspension in it, will put on the OEM fogs, and replace the steering wheel with the OEM WRX wheel and airbag since I am changing that to a GTspec D shaped wheel. Clearbra and 20% tint also ready to go on. I already have a custom painted grill I will install this weekend. It will match my painted wheels. I'm happy.

7 miles on it as I left the dealership tonight

Home in my driveway, about 15miles on it as I got home...ready to throw the bits and pieces on it that I have had sitting in the house for close to 6 weeks now.

Not bad looking for a base model 5 speed, with OEM wimpy mud flaps and no frills

I do love the aggressive look of the headlights. The grill surround will remain the same, but the wings around the badge will be replaced with painted ones that I painted to match my wheels.

Night time test drive with the new wheels, wing, and door trim thingies. 16 miles on it at this point.

Dark pic, but back home in the garage...for a base daily driver, I think it is pretty tight!!

Brighter image of the same thing...loving how it all fits together, love the price, love the feel....can't wait to stiffen up the handling and do some other minor interior mods and get the windows tinted. Hopefully I can get to that this weekend.

Wow, I really do like the two-tone appearance, especially with the sage green. I'm actually thinking of picking up this same color… that is if I can find one.

Ultimately, I think the marine blue and metallic gray are the most attractive, but they only come with a black interior. I really want the beige interior. So maybe I'll be joining you with a Sage Green/Ice Silver hatch. I'll post pics if/when I finally buy.

Hi all, new to this site and new to the subaru. But it has been a little over a week and so far im loving my 2012 impreza sport premium! Got about 850 miles on it so far, purchased with 6 miles (I commute to work pretty far). Here are some shots from last weekend using my phone. Added a few small things to the car

Not feeling the lines on the 2012 Imprezas...and the hatch spoiler looks like a duck bill.

Step backward IMO.

Well, it's a 2012 Impreza thread, so you're gonna get some folks disagreeing there! I agree about the spoiler. I like the stock thin spoiler a lot better. That said, the above pics by TYEFIM are nice: Love the white interior!!!
