Tell me that when you reach down near a bad coil wire on your old MG and have pulses of electricity jump several inches to your wrist and come out of your knee at the bumper. Wheeee. That was a fun one!

That's not electrocution!!

electrocute[ ih-lek-truh-kyoot ]

verb (used with object) [e·lec·tro·cut·ed, e·lec·tro·cut·ing.]
1. to kill by electricity.
2. to execute (a criminal) by electricity, as in an electric chair.

Hey guys, I wanted to ask if any of you had a chance to clean up some of the hosing and wiring in your engine bay and if so can you recommend some online dealers?

The reason I ask is because I've had a really hard time cleaning my engine; I live in salt lake so I get a lot of salt/dust rusting away at metal and wearing out the cheap rubber hosing Subaru puts in these cars. So far replacing the intake his given me a lot of space on the passengers side but not so much anywhere else.

Also do you think there is something like this that will fit the 2.0 models, http://thmotorsports.com/perrin_perf.../i-525360.aspx, or will this one, instructions are horrible. I hate the cheap stock plastic one.

I don't think that one does. Could be wrong.

There's a real nice cover on the foreign market 2.0's. Having a hard time finding it, but I've seen it in pics..

Thanks for the link. I've been emailing axis parts for months now to try to get that but they are horrible at replying. This will make life easier.

Night and day...

Looked like there was someone selling their 2013 (I think, which is still 08+) WRX front a rear sway bar in the classifieds, or was it SoCal? For $100.

I believe the factory Sport f/r sways are the same size as the WRX, correct?

Regardless, I have my OEM 13 Sport rear sway bar with endlinks and bushings up for sale if any base model guys want one..

Already getting ready for next winter. TCS got you down?

It all starts with this:

It's a GTC CT6100 Fuse Socket Connector Kit. I plan on using one to replace the ABS fuse, and wire it with a switch and an inline fuse holder. I think it's been done before, but I'm not sure if anyone's used a fuse tap similar to this one. This way it's completely reversible if the need ever arises.

How's everyone else done their TCS kill switch?

Currently live in San Diego and have ZERO need for a "kill switch" but if you do a write up that includes this quick disconnect it may be worth it for the future.

Keep us posted?

Like that, although this summer/fall i will be adding a relay to the kill switch

From what I understand, this should do the trick just fine:

At least that's the plan. I might not even drill any holes for the switch, and just tuck it behind the little fuse box door, or use two-sided tape.

I'll definitely keep you guys posted though, and expect to see some sweet drifts when winter rears its ugly head. Lol

Edit:
Flyboy1100: I look forward to seeing how you do that. Keep me posted, and I might do the same. It seems like a relay would be a good idea, especially dealing with something like the ABS system. What part of the circuit will the relay be added to?

I did mine just like the picture, works a treat.

Relay is not required, if you're worried about it just operate the switch with the key off.

Question... Are the axis parts on the link compatible with our cars? The one in the pic looks like it's this one:

http://item.rakuten.co.jp/auc-axis-p...u-imp-g4-velt/

Just not sure and want some clarification.

Reason I ask is that I emailed the guys at vivd racing and they said it wasn't compatible. I think it is.

The one link directly says Impreza / XV. The other directly says G4, which is the foreign model sedan. So I would say yes.
