Lower prices on parts, or some way to get a good discount. I can order parts from other dealerships online, and they are far cheaper than what I can get at Hodges. i.e. www.subarugenuineparts.com or www.subaruparts.com ...

How about an online parts presence like these guys?

If you bring in a invoice with the shipped price John will generally match it for you,and sometimes he can beat it. A set discount IMO would be a better idea though, I will bring that up at the next meeting. I do not think you will be seeing a Hodgesparts.com anytime soon though, as John hates the internet

Sorry Jorge, I don't think that would be very PC unless we had some young hung stud here to do the same, and we don't want to see that now do we?

If you ever get the means to do so. Buy Pizza hut, make that sales, and pizza. Keep current location for service!

Or kick the bikers out next door. Those are scarey fat men.

Pizza hut for sales has actually been discussed in the past, we could really use that space

My only experience there was when I was looking for a new car. I realize that there isn't a whole lot to be done for trade-in pricing, but ask the guy in charge to be a little more giving. I shopped around for the best trade-in when I was looking for a subie....and the dealership I bought it from gave me $4000 more on trade-in. Their sales department wasn't as nice, and they are farther from home...but the price killed the deal at Hodges.

I have had good experience with John. He matched prices for me on a few occasions. Had service done on the car twice as well and although there was a speed bump with the tranny rebuild, everything was taking care of in the end.

I did find something irritating though. When my car went back in the shop after the initial tranny rebuild mishap, it seemed that oil changes was the highest priority of each day. I realize there is a lot of money in that type of service, but being without a car for more than a week wasnt fun.

I would still come back to Hodges because, Creg (service manager?) did deal with me professionally and handled the dispute fairly.

I only go to hodges because the RLM owner is t3h w1n!
Nah, in all seriousness, hodges is the only place that has done work on my car that I couldn't do (tranny rebuildx2). The only addition I could think of would be a 10% nasioc discount...then I could afford my new block!!
