I've been shopping around in the Oklahoma City/Dallas area and I can't seem to get the dealers to lower the price more than 1000 under msrp... Is that typical now? I mean the dealer was telling me that they can't sale them for around invoice anymore because of a memo that they received from Subaru?, stating the ordered wrx/STi will go against the dealership monthly/yearly allotment... Not sure what that means but either way I can't get the price down... Anyone have the same experience? Seems like the guys that ordered on the first days when it was available got the lower price.

Hey guys, I am going to order my sti within the week. I am very excited

I am debating whether I should get a new one or a used 2012 one.

The new one is a 5door base for 35,000..

The used one has 4k miles. The car is from carmax and since the milage is so low, do you think its worth it?

The price on it is 33k.

I too also debated on this! These cars keep their value so well that it was hard for me to justify 2k price difference. Resale value, if you decide to sell it in a few years.. I went and ordered a new one because of that, now is 4k worth it to you? I felt that I would much rather own the car from start. Just my $.02

Although that seems to be a better deal than I had found compared to a 2011 and 2012 (about 4 months ago when I was looking) I had found a 2011 with 10k and they wanted just $1000 difference to a new 2012, options was prolly the big difference. But seeing how the 2012 and 2013 are just about the same, it may have to be your call.

Keep this in mind, a NEW car may get a better interest rate... Assuming you will get a loan. Good luck!

Ordered mine 9/10/12 5dr base sti hatch PBP w/nav. Still no word. Called the dealer last Wednesday and said he was still waiting for 6 orders total for an update.

I wonder if you need to do a leak down/compression test with a 1 year old sti and low miles.

I know that is DGM based on your info, but if I didn't know that I would have guessed it was PBP. Here's hoping another truck comes in today!

For the extra 2K I would get the new one. Exactly the color you want, and you won't have to worry about where the miles came from, how they treated the car, nor why the person got rid of the car.

Just my opinion.

I am in for a LOVELY 12 hour shift on Thursday, and I believe Omar is as well.

Give us a ballpark on what time you want to come and we will have it all cleaned and ready (without tire dressing) .

You can take the "(on order)" out of your profile now

Thanks for the kind words! It was good to meet you in person last night. Sorry I was running around like a mad man and didn't get to talk much.

If you even need anything in the future do not hesitate to call/PM/messenger pigeon etc. We are all here to help moving forward!

Mike, need some answers please. Just called my dealer and asked about my ETA. Instead of November the system now says HOLD. Wtf is that? He doesn't even know what that means. FYI, PBP Sti base with navi is what I ordered.

Yeah Mike, we need answers! My ETA (Exact Time of Arrival) was 10/08 and according to my free work calendar next to me it's 10/09. I believe this entitles me to a free navigation unit. Can't imagine what I get for free if it doesn't come in today....maybe a BRZ?
