Unhappy 80W90 for transmission fluid on 02 WRX?

I just got done with my 30k transmission fluid change and realized the dealer sold me 80w90 fluid for my tranny. Is this going to destroy my tranny? I have read that people are putting in 75w90 fluid in their trannies and that this is the recommened fluid. Am i screwed? Is their some kind of recourse for me at the dealership?
thanks!

Look at the charts in your owners manual. They show the recommended viscosities for engine and drivetrain lubricants vs. expected ambient temperatures. Hopefully your dealer follows those recommendations but sometimes they don't.
