Default Day drive suggestions for WA?

Looking for some suggestions for a nice day drive. I live in Seattle, looking for a nice drive to spend a day on in my Subie before the weather turns on us. Not opposed to taking a ferry to get there or cross the pass, just looking for some nice drives easily doable in a day (8-10h RT from Seattle, give or take).

Didn't see a similar thread, so hopefully I'm not duping something. Cheers!

410 over to Yakima, hwy 12 back, then through the park by Paradise and back up through eatonville.

Plenty of stuff to do there if you so choose, but yes, hwy 12 is before Yakima so the understanding is you would turn well before you got to town.

Cascade loop is also a correct answer, for the record.

Haven't had a miner burger in a long time, might be my favorite thing in that city.

Going to Yakima and not eating at Miner's would be inconceivable!

I'm horrible w/ this. I go on day trips and drive way too much in mine

Paradise is an awesome area/drive just make sure wind is ideal.

Taking 101 down to OR is always fun as well.

I know this is rediculous, but I go and spend the day at Banks lake. It's a long drive but I love it there

Curious to hear other ideas

101 around the olympics is fun, even more more if you camp and take a few days to drive into the forests on the west side, and up to hurricane ridge or sol duc on the north.

106 around the hood canal is one of my favorites. Usually not too much traffic, and its beautiful scenery on a somewhat windy road.

Wow, that sounds like a great drive. Maybe a stop at Rimrock lake for lunch before you head up to Paradise

I'd stay away from Eastern WA for now. Last I heard it was still on fire/smoke everywhere.
