ALABAMA GUYS:

One Lap of America (Click Here for INFO) will be coming through Alabama this week!!

May 3rd - Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, FL AND Gainesville Raceway, Gainesville, FL

May 4th - Circuit Grand Bayou, Belle Rose, LA

May 5th - Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, AL

Myself, I'm off on the 5th, so I plan to drive up to Birmingham and check this location out. I've been a BIG (no HUGE) FAN of One Lap of America over the past 5+ years, but have never had the $ to compete (easily $5,000+ just to compete - NOT INCLUDING CAR PREPARATION) or had the car prepared...

If any of you want to come hang out at the track, head on up to Birmingham on the 5th... Louisiana is alittle far for me to drive, and I've already seen the Daytona and Gainesville events a few years ago. So for me, Birmingham is new, and therefore the track I want to see. Plus it will be good to get up there and root on the Team TurnInConcepts.com Subaru WRX as this year they are shooting for the TOP SPOT and not just a class win...

Anyone interested in coming up??

Definitely interested but won't be able to make it since it's during the week : (

Take some pics.

Hoping other Alabama guys made out okay with the tornadoes.

Dude ... BOTH Subarus are out of One Lap ... I'm still going to drive up to Birmingham though on Thursday... Probably take the STi too in the off chance that they allow laps during lunch like they did a few years ago at CMP

I'm leaving in 3 hours, driving the Legacy (better on fuel than the STi)... Should get there around 9am... I'll be wearing my Black "STi" shirt and will probably have my Australian leather boonie hat on

One Lap was awesome today. The TurnInConcepts WRX team managed to fix their car and get back out to finish the competition...

I got TONS of pictures and plan on posting them up when I get back to Enterprise later tonight.

I'm at Black Market Bar in Birmingham now, having an early dinner before hitting the road back home...

Definitely man...

I got a bunch of videos yesterday at One Lap, but unfortunantely I guess my phone just didn't like the light or something because the image is all jacked up... Something was telling me to take the GoPro ... Oh well, I got some good pictures that I'm gonna try to send out to the teams when I get off of duty tomorrow morning and back to my fast internet connection (instead of tethered to my phone)...

In millbrook with a wrb 07 sti, got a friend with an 02 wrx and know of a guy in Prattville with a 05 sti. Theres a guy who is around from time to time with a 2011 sti but hes in selma. Seen a few others around. I think there's a silver 04-05 sti around, black 02-03, and red 08 wrx around the Prattville area.

In Montgomery, I've recently seen an 04 STi wrb with veteran tags, Robert_aka_Kuro, I have yet to see your 07. Also seen a silver Legacy GT Spec B, but that's about it for Montgomery that I've seen, have yet to see any the few times I've been in Prattville. RQtuning, I might have to take you up on that sometime!

Graduated high school in Montgomery. I live in Mobile....I visit Montgomery every once in a while, usually for Import Face-off. Maybe this year I won't overheat my ride!

There any good autox's near Montgomery? I moved here to Columbus from down by mobile/Pensacola area I read there are quite a few in Atlanta but most people complain that it's a pita because of how many go and montgomery is only about 2 hours from me.
