Default Any reason why 07 heated LGT seats wouldn't go into 01 LGT?

My wife has wanted heated seats FOREVER and now the upper bolstering on the drivers seat is starting to come apart at the stitches.

Seems to me like there wouldn't be much of an issue with this install, just need to wire something special for the heaters and switches. But her seat has power movement, so no issues there.

Anyone have any other concerns? Yeah, I know that the new ones will have airbags and hers don't, but that shouldn't really be an issue, as far as I can tell...

thanks in advance!

which seats r getting worn, the 2007 or 2001?

the 2001 should have seat-mounted side airbags. my 2000 outbsck does. it may also be pre-wired for the heated seat option.

corbeau makes seats with heaters as an option. i would go with the GTS II style.
