I know the Crosstrek is Subaru's answer to the Juke currently, but maybe they could do whatever they needed to to get the rights to the Chevy Borrego concept. That is what this Toyota makes me think about. I saw the Borrego in person and was instantly in love.

I'm digging the heavy push towards futuristic looks with those body panels. It's nice to see something like this hopefully come to light.

I don't even know why the Juke is doing so well although this concept is actually better-looking. But that's not really saying much.

A proper 4WD system, LSD or lockable diff in the rear, and a turbodiesel.
Do it, 'yota. You have an amazing off-roading heritage to live up to, and you would make a killing stateside. Edit- In fact, they already offer the Auris with a 2.2TD (2AD-FHV) that pumps out 177hp and 300lb.ft. Take that, throw 4WD on it with a rear locker, you've got a hit.
