STi Defi Genome Gauge Install questions
Where do the STi Defi Genome Gauges install? There is the boost, oil temperature, and oil pressure. I assume the boost installs similar to the subaru omori gauge, the vacuum line going to the bypass valve. What about the oil press, and temp? Does the oil press use one of the galley plugs on top of the block? Does the temp use the sensor/drain plug that the subaru omori gauge pack uses?

good choices for those sensors you are questioning. why would you want wires underneath the car? |

All the Subaru omori oil temp gauges install in the oil drain plug. You ziptie the wires to the crossmember up through to the firewall. It's the "oem way" to do it, it's pretty accurate this way aswell since the sensor is reading from oil that is semi-stationary. I was just wondering if the STi Defi gauges used the same plug. But can't find any info on where the two oil sensors are tapped.

I would also like to know where to plug the power cord into. I have the Subaru oem gauges and thought it was the same plug behind the radio unit but it doesnt fit. Not sure if this plug is for the STi and I have to cut and splice the wires. Anybody here with answers?

I have the sandwich adpater, no problem there, my question is where do I plug the power cord into? Or do I have to splice the wires?
