Most carbon fiber parts don't have UV coating in the clear coat, so they get really dull easily. You can either find a local detailer to buff the trunk and make sure you keep that thing waxed, like at least once a month toss a coat on there. or you can take it to a reputable bodyshop and have them sand it down and re-clear it with a clear that has UV protection on it.

Look up Klasse AIO, I've been using it to remove oxidation from my CF trunk for the past 2 years and it works wonders. You can do it by hand or with a buffer. Make sure to seal or wax the trunk after you're done.

ive tried using "nufinish" and other scratch removers/oxidation removers... i finally got tired of messing around n took it to a body/paint shop.. i got my hood wetsanded and clear coated and buff for like $150.. but the painter did do it on his own time.. so that helped cut down on price.. but after that like that guy said^^ keep it waxed atleast once a month,,, im in love with the turtles ICE line up.. satisfies everytime

Try this. I just detailed a WRX with a CF trunk yesterday that was very dull and I used AIO with a buffer and a white pad to get 90% of that oxidation out. I still have to grab the pics off of my camera, but once I get them I'll post them here for you to see. I ended up detailing 4.5 cars yesterday (4 cars prepped for a local shop's display at a car show tonight and buffed out headlights for a NASIOC member who's been PM'ing me for a while and our schedules/paths never crossed until he happen to be at the shop.)
