Default quick defi egt gauge install question

i don't want to be stuck when i am installing it...are there any tools i need or special conversion adapters for the probe or anything else i may need to order before i take the car apart? also, i am guessing welding is required, correct?

thank you,

-salvatore

you dont have to weld it. Just drill a hole in the place you want to mount it then tap the hole. And then screw in the egt sensor.

o and one other thing, does defi include the egt probe with the gauge or do you have to buy one at a local shop?

I just got a Defi EGT. Where is the best place to mount the probe?

Mine is mounted in the Driver's side header. Read the gauge FAQ at the top of E & L , it is a very informative read and enjoyable.

Here is something else good to read
