We're back home from Chicago! After close to 1,000 miles of driving I consistently saw about 19-20MPG when cruising on the highway (70-75MPH @ 2,600-2,800RPM's with the Spec B gears), but during the time spent in Chicago traffic I only got around 10MPG! My normal mix of daily driving is usually somewhere in the middle of that.

MPLS to Chicago and back on E85 wasn't an issue with a little planning. The car was on the full 30-31psi (close to 600WHP) tune the entire time. At a steady cruise I think it could get close to 300 miles before being empty. Here are some shots from after 3/4 tank (11.6 gallons). E85 @ $3.50/gal was pretty typical for the trip.

Lies I see that 68 mpg in the back. You did a hybrid build didn't you That's really not bad for the power on tap

Haha. The readout got up over 70MPG at times! I think it's around 3.5x the actual MPG with my current injectors and base pressure.

For a nearly 600WHP car, I think that highway cruising at 20MPG is pretty good. There are cars with half the power that do worse!

With that messed up readout, you haven't thought about swapping the clock/mpg to something else?

No, I do like the clock and temp readout. Normally I don't even have the MPG showing, but I sometimes check and once you figure out the multiplier (ie. 3.5x in this case) it's pretty easy to eyeball if you're above/below normal.

I've been testing it on my car and some others with bigger injectors and/or E85 and its working really well.

I'm sure Cobb will pick this up sooner or later and make it available in their software. ECUTek has has it for some time now and I've been bugging the OS guys to find it and someone finally did.
