Question on Tuning WRX w/ VF-39
hey guys, i have an 06 WRX, and am planning on finally doing some mods, it already has a SPT cat-back so im going to get a 3" cat-less DP, cat-less Up-pipe, perrin big MAF intake, and a VF 39 STI Turbo, and i want to go have it tuned with COBB AP, but im a newb to it so i wasnt sure how its going to work, do you have to have certain mods in order to tune with cobb maps? or can your tuner custom tune it to whatever mods you have?
my other option would be to get UTEC and have my local shop tune that. thanks for the advice, ;D

yep they tune off of what mods you have, thats how you get more power, usually the more mods the more power. I fyour going to get it protuned, I would get a bigger TMIC.

Take the UP and intake money and put it towards a bigger TMIC (used STi TMIC is not that much). The stock UP is already cat-less. De-snorkle your stock intake and you are good to go. The stock WRX TMIC is too small.

you don't need a perrin Big maf with that setup, spend the money elsewhere unless your going to get a bigger turbo soon
