I'm so mad I missed out.

What time did B.W. run? ( I see 12.5 on his window?) How many cars showed up? ( not just subys)

Looks like fun times.

I only ran a 12.7 I have the OEM clutch so I didnt want to slip it and ruin it, so I just had to dump it and I couldn't get traction until like 35 mphish... but I got my 60 foot kinda low (for my first time on a drag track) 1.8 . Hopefully I can get a better clutch on by the end of the season and a tune for my current setup so I can join the 11's club.

well didnt get any pics of my car at the track. but it was the 1988 GL Wagon. here is my time slip... ironically the car in the right lane was a new WRX.

.075 seconds off of a 13.999

car wasnt realy ready for the race. didnt plan on raceing im not a student, im a teacher. but i just did one time trial, and called it good.

looks like i my car dosent take off from the line as fast as ^ STI. but i pick up a lot of speed in the top end...

time for a better tune so i can enter myself into the helmet club...

ThrillaInManila your JJ right, I was the White STi down there. Anyway back on topic... My practice pass was a blistering 14.4@101mph (still not got the launch down). Then I dialed in at 14 and ran a neon who dialed in at 16, caught him by 2nd and sandbagged for a 14.4 again at 83mph (cause I wasn't sure about breaking out and got a good launch). Was about 10 cars back in the line for the second round and then the rain started. So hopefully my exhaust will be here before wednesday

Yessir. Nah don't worry, it was your first time w/ the sti on the strip. And AWD launch is tricky. You'll get better. Now if you killed it . I should've seen lower times but my R/T sucked.

Yeah obv people can get into the 11's with stock clutch, people can get into the 11's with a stock turbo. Truth is this was my first time on a prepared surface so that is why I said maybe I can get there by the end of the season. Sorry I'm no top fuel driver.
