Default Somewhat Modded '98 2.5RS coupe (SOLD)

SOLD! to Sandkicker, enjoy it and take good care of her!

World Rally Blue 2.5RS Coupe:

-Bad First:
Was put into a ditch and had the whole passanger side bondoed and painted. Window is scratched up. 130,000 miles on the CHASSIS. Windshield sprayer button is missing but you can touch the contacts and it works.

-Now for the GOOD:

Mods-

-ACT Clutch
-ACT Lightweight Fly wheel
-Stainless Steel Brakelines
-Legacy Rear Bearings
-RalliSpec CAI
-RalliSpec Catback (boxer rumble baby, yeah!)
-STi Gauge Pod with Lamco Oil Temp, Voltage, Vacuum (backlighting is wired correctly)
-Stock 2002 WRX 6 disk in-dash Changer and tape deck
-Falken Azenis Tires with atleast 50% left
-Sabelt 5 point harness
-Whiteline adjustable (18-22mm) rear swaybar

Rescently Replaced-

-longblock with 70,000 on it
-New front rotors and new pads all around
-new bearings all around
-all Suspension has around 25,000 miles on it

Options-

-dual function sun roof
-Power everything except seats
-One touch driver window
-Everything inside works

I also have a ton new replacement parts that will go with it (brake pads, stock parts, etc.)

Doesn't burn a drop of oil, drives/shifts/brakes very smooth and straight. I've had it up past 115 mph and it doesn't wander, or pull AT ALL and steering is very responsive even at those speeds. Car is stable to 115 and I'm sure past that aswell. Steering rack is very sensative. Interior is incredibly quiet and solid with no squeeks or rattles.

Despite my "testing", I have been very gentle with it, it generally doesn't get past 3200 rpm in a day and gets incredible gas mileage... the fun to mileage ratio is amazing. I creep over speed bumps, yada, yada, yada... some of you know the drill.

anyways, $5800 takes her, I am negotiable but who isn't. I also have some new nokian snow tires on clean black steelies, a RalliSpec light rack with 2 Hella 500's (wired with quick-disconnects), and two Brand New Hella Horns if somebody wants to really get cute with the negotiations.

I will list more as I remember.

It was done well before I bought it. I don't have before repair pics, but you can see the after repair pics when I get them up.

Like I said, it drives nice and straight to alteast 115 with very responsive steering. Open to test drives to prove it but not for people who just want to joy ride, only to those who are legitimately interested.

What up SilverJA, yeah I still work in ogden but now live in SLC. Have some cooling probs that have to be worked out so i'm not driving it much yet, but within the next week or so i should be cruising it full time. Keep your eyes out for a blue/gold RS, it's a fun ride.

Well, took the car to Nate Wade because i couldn't figure out exactly what was up. They've always been pretty straight with me when I had my WRX and had work done and they do a solid job. Turns out the head gaskets were blown, and the radiator completely clogged/shot. I knew something was up with the A/C when i bought but figured it wouldn't have been that big of a deal, maybe just needed to be charged or flushed...but apparently it was hosed, first day on the freeway the car overheated, blew the HG's i guess. Sucked 'cause all seemed fine when i'd test driven it, and Taymour told me everything was solid.

I probably should've just let the car sit until i could get some cash to do an awesome engine build, but decided to just have them fix everything. Taymour/SVTHorsnake said he'd recently replaced the block/clutch, Alex (the previous owner) said 50k miles ago he'd put in a with a professionally built motor and recently a clutch...so i figured for piece of mind, and a sheetload of cash, i'd just have Nate Wade fix it so i could at least feel somewhat confident with the actual condition of the engine/motor from right now, and know it was actually done professionally. Fixed the head gaskets, new timing belt, new radiator, new valves, new everything else, pickin it up today.

So now i need to find a quick couple grand so i'm not into this car double what it's worth. Good time, eh? Any ideas? Then on to actually cleaning up the car a little and adding the fun-stuff.
