Default 2011 Limited SWP WRX hatch

As many of you know I wore out my clutch and the car has just been parked in the garage for the better part of a month now, as I don't have the money to fix it. So I'm thinking about selling it and looking for something slightly cheaper and more suited for my current wants.

Ideally I'd like to find a white 2005 STi, which I've been thinking about long before it broke. I might also be interested in the right 2.5RS or EVO.

If someone is seriously interested then I will put the new clutch on my credit card. Otherwise I will fix it as soon as I am able and continue to upgrade and race it...

2011 Subaru Impreza WRX
Body - Hatch
Color - Satin White Pearl
Trim - Limited
Miles - 60,000

I bought it at 40k miles and it was mostly stock up until then.

Engine:
Perrin CAI
Perrin turbo inlet hose
Cobb downpipe - catless(gutted)
SPT catback
HOA EBCS
AVO TMIC
PTP turbo blanket - red
Perrin radiator shroud - red
Perrin strut tower bar - red
Kartboy pitch stop mount
Road tuned by Element Automotive for 90 octane at 19psi.

Suspension:
2011 STi springs all around
2011 STi rear struts
Whiteline rear swaybar
Eibach 25mm adjustable front swaybar
Kartboy endlinks all around

Brakes:
Slotted rotors
SS brake lines

Aesthetics:
Rally Armor mud flaps - breast cancer awareness edition.
Paint matched mustache and exhaust finishers.
S205 side badges - black with cherry blossom red STi logo.

Also has Cobb double adjustable short shifter with Kartboy bushings.

The front bumper and hood have a lot of rock chips, and there are a number of shallow hail dents all over.

The limited trim includes heated leather seats, factory adjustable HIDs, heated mirrors, windshield wiper de-icers, fog lights, and sunroof.

Recently had the 60k mile service done, which included replacing the spark plugs and putting Extra-S in the transmission and differentials.

I still have most of the stock parts and would be willing to reinstall them and negotiate on the price.

$24,000

^The gold wheels are 18" 2008 STi BBSs and are not included.
If interested in them with 245/40/18 Star Specs and bolt patterns adapters would be another $1700.

If I sell it I will put the stock 17" WRX wheels back on with low tread oem performance summer tires.

Such a shame. I totally understand, though. That's why I had to get out of the turbocharged game, or at least with anything newer. An 05 STI would be PERFECT for you. If you end up needing a buddy for a road trip in the Fall or something, let me know! I doubt you'll find anything up here.

Sell your wrx stocker wheels and tires.

Money for clutch.

Problem solved. You're welcome.

The game is expensive no matter what car my friend. The older you go the more prone things will be to break. Just saying. Don't let a minor thing like a clutch get you discouraged and sell. Unless you just want a peanut eye, well then I agree they look better anyways :-P

Lol thanks, I understand all that. I bought this car before moving down here and becoming involved with motorsports, an older STi would be much more suited for what I'm doing with the car now. And yes, I have always wanted a peanut eye.

About selling my stockers, it wouldn't be enough and then I wouldn't have them if I ever did sell the car.

Definitely start looking to the states for a white one. It'll pretty much be impossible to get that up here. You'll most likely have to settle with WRB or OBP for alaska choices. Seems to be the most common for sale.

Yeah, my bad. The salesman in me can flip either way. Plus I wasn't sure how serious you were about racing. Now I know, though!

Aw, didn't see the reconstruct. $18k should be the going rate for an 05 STI, though. I think that's what I sold mine for to Billboard2001 with close to 50k miles on it (maybe 46k?) back in early summer of 2009.

Yeah that's about right I bought an 05 STI last night actually for 16000 with just over 80k

Correction: Sold it to him for $20k.

And congrats on the new purchase!

@Davin: I don't like that the Kodiak STI has a bunch of aftermarket parts.

Yeah, I bought mine from Chano at $20k. If I was selling it I'm sure it'd be in the ballpark of 18k but I'm not sure. Look on nasioc's car for sale classifieds. You may find one that is already built to your needs and save you a lot of money in the long run. (can't tell you how much I've spent on mine. Haha just kidding; about $39k as it sits today and I know I'll never see anything close to that if I decide to sell it). And it'd be a good excuse for a road trip. With Chano.

I thought about selling mine, but pretty sure no would pay what id like to see for it. Hence I decided to keep it and not get into a brz. I love the versatility of the STi.

Good luck on your search, I had to purchase mine outside of Anchorage.

Out of every Subaru I've owned, I miss the STI the most. I've driven a newer one, and it was cool, but the 05 is just the rawest machine. If I get this BRZ paid down enough I've considered getting an 05 STI as a winter beater. Woot woot!

Anyways, you're on the right track, Davin. You'd be better off selling the BBS wheels, fixing the clutch, THEN selling the WRX. Use one of your cars in Fairbanks for a bit or get some cheap beater, and scour the Internet until you find something you want.

If your timing is right I would most likely join you on a road trip. I'm easy to be around, don't poop very much or pass a lot of gas, AND I'd help pay for gas.

For everyone that doesn't know, I drove my last two up from the states. Seemed like a no-brainer to me, although I don't have the extra funds or time off this time. I could possibly use some of the difference and pay my brother or father in-law to drive it up for me, but I'm not even sure I'm selling this one.

As far as selling my BBSs, if I do find an '05 I would want to keep them. If someone is interested in them and has money now go ahead and shoot me an offer, otherwise someone else is already in line for them when he can afford it.

I'm still interested, like I said if you think about it again send me a list of what you have done and what you would like to see for it. And would you feel ok with it being used for rally-x and ice racing from it's new owner?

Ummm... That didn't stop you from getting your car from out-of-state... TWICE. Maybe the guy just wants an adventure?

Hey if he has the time and wants to pay for gas, logging, etc. both ways, plus a reasonable amount of cash on his end I'll entertain it. Never been a big fan of the hawkeyes but I'm open minded.
