I think this looks pretty good:

Expensive by the time you get all the various harnesses but you can have everything in one place.

Well it wasn't covered under warranty. It was a "good will" replacement.

Gotcha....still though, I have read a bunch with people getting declined with just an AP.

PS I hate you...my intention was to keep my motor stock but for some reason after reading this thread I want to build it up now!

Doing some late night reading...water/alcohol injection.....hmmmm.

Still doing some research but so far the "increasing effective octane" part is really sounding good. I didn't want to do it at first but maybe it is worth looking into.

For your built motor it would probably be a positive for some easy extra power.

I remember looking at that before too. Maybe if it was either next to impossible to remove for a thief or if it was easily removable so it could be placed out of a sight I would have more interest in it, but as is that thing sounds like bait for some a-hole to break into my car.

Heard about that alcohol injection thing, good way to get alcohol poisoning. J/K, but I have heard a little about the engine part and it sounds kind of neat to me, just not something I'd go for. Probably help you get the most of your built block though.

My car gets to sit in the garage. The wife's car gets to park in the drive way. We have to much crap to fit both cars inside. I tell her my car is a good candidate for haters to hate on lol.

If we go out at night I take her car lol. The only time I drive my car at night is if I'm going for a spin and do not plan on parking it. Not like I live in a bad area either. Just a protective father lol.

Thanks! Looking forward to my first cruise. I was at the driving range today and looked back at my car in the parking lot and said to myself, "what the hell am I doing trying to play golf, I should just enjoy driving my car, at least I know that will go straight.".

Lol, right. Greens fees or a tank of gas. I'm favoring gas more and more.

I would too especially with it still being nice out!

However I'm not the biggest golf fan, cuz I'll do either amazing or awful every time I'm up.

Can't wait for it to get cooler down here. I love driving with the windows open and it is 50 degrees out. Plus the car loves it too

It's been that here lately, of course I don't know how you can survive the summer in Florida

I'm curious why you called the COBB downpipe the "bottleneck" in your exhaust and if you could post a video of your exhaust. I'm curious as to how much the equal length headers change the sound, if at all.

I have a bunch of pics and videos on my flickr account that you can scroll through to hear the exhaust. The Cobb DP goes from 3" to 2.5" at the end of the pipe so that it can mate up with the stock catback exhaust. The Invidia exhaust is 3" from the turbo all the way to the end or at least to the y pipe. Don't remember. So there is no restriction.

Yes the equal length headers take out a little of the rumble. Not much though.

Yes it is hot here in the summer but it actually gets hotter in the mid Atlantic area than it does here in the summer. Those guys get 100's when we typically top out around 98.

I love cold weather though. Visited Park City a few years ago to ski and I was in heaven. But I wouldn't want to put my baby (STI) through the rigors of living in snowy climates.

Water/meth is out . If I had my shop right around the corner from me then maybe but I don't. They are an hour and a half away. I don't want to deal with that if there is an issue. More parts being added to the system means more chances for something to go wrong. I'm sure plenty of people are having success but I don't want to tempt fate, not with my luck lol.
