Default EJ20/EJ25 Intake manifold swap

Guys, I did a search, but alas I found nothing.

Does anyone know the differences between the new EJ20 intake manifold and the EJ25? Asides from obvious visual differences, are they interchangable? Are the fuel rail mounting points the same? etc etc.

Future thanks to someone who's head is filled with this trivia.

-Simon.

DOHC vs. SOHC... the heights are going to be different, but they should be able to fit on each others' heads. Not sure about the US WRX as it's tumbler valves may need to be transferred with them, but the older style WRX's possibly.

I've heard mention of "tumbler valves" what exactly are they?

You will have to be more specific with your question...Are you talking about a JDM EJ20 manifold or a USDM manifold?..Forget the USDM manifold..It won't work..As for the JDM..It won't fit either. On the EJ25 the bolt holes are staggered...On the JDM they are straight..Also depending on which year and engine you have..Some injectors are side feed...Here is a pic of a JDM manifold bolt patern...Gerry
