Default Blacked Out Fog Bezel on 04 SRR WRX wagon

Purchased black fog bezels for the 04 wagon, and of course they were too shiny to look good. Used the Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter and the black Bumper Paint, and it matches pretty good. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. Sorry didn't wash the car, please excuse the bugs. Will get better pics later.

I actually purchased a new set of bezels to do this, I'm saving the red in case I decide to switch back.

I kind've like the way it flows with the middle section behind the license plate (covering the bumper beam).

What lip is that?

The lip is the Home Depot DIY version from here.

Jury at my house is husband and kids love it, so the black is stayin'. I wasn't so sure at first, but it's growing on me.

Here's a few pics, but the car's covered in dust and the lighting wasn't too great. I'll get it washed this weekend and take better pics. But, in the meantime, the basic idea is here. Haven't had the car long, so I still need to at least paint the wheels & clear the headlights, will probably keep the black side skirts. Torn between graphite or gold for the wheels at this point (new wheels aren't in our budget).

Home Depot DIY Lip is the best cheap thing i ever did to my car too. But sadly, i dont think the fog covers look good at all. Perhaps if you just did the top section to match the black portion of the lower grill behind the licence plate, it could have looked a little better, but all black just looks over-done.
