yeah thats strange considering the CF one is like half the weight of the stock one
maybe the wrx performance afterwards is not as noticeable as the sti's Last edited by SubieRon; 12-13-2006 at 11:17 AM. |

hmmmm. how about u guys send me one, i'll test it out and write all the feedback u guys want
my friend bought one for his Sti and he loves it. Rev matching becomes natural with this thing on. I drove it for like 5 minutes and the 1st thing i noticed was that the car had much better acceleration as soon as i changed gears...and i was shifting below 3500 rpm. I know its not a wrx review but i noticed the diff big time. I would get one but im low on funds at this time. hope that helped |

Short Update
Hey all! I'm just putting a little bit of an update concerning the driveshaft. I may have not noticed any difference after installing the driveshaft. I think the issue has to do with having an upgraded clutch. When I upgraded my clutch to a Exedy hyper single, I immediately noticed a huge difference in acceleration. I was reving alot easier and hitting red line faster. Since the flywheel of the upgraded clutch my be lighter, that could be the cause of my not noticing anything after the driveshaft swap.
Too bad no one else chimed in on thier experiance with the driveshaft. Would be nice to know if there is a difference like the STI guys are getting. |

Well, I havent been around the boards in a few years, but considering I am returning from my 997 turbo endeavors to re-live, yet another, WRX project ( potential watt efficiency ratio and chassis lightening being the goal ). It occurs to me that my project specifications may be well met with a CF reduction in rotational mass. We'll see - if you have one in stock and ready for shipment, then consider it sold; assuming an aluminum yoke. I will provide updates relative to your products contribution to the build requirements as they come available, assuming you actually have one in inventory, that is...

On the page it says "Fits 02/06/07 and Limited STi" Just confirming, this is the DS and the group buy code is still wrxds? So this will fit an 07 sti limited and other wrx, but won't fit the older Sti's?
