I feel I should mention that Byron (from www.b-specusa.com ) was forced to install a roll-cage in his EJ22 '93 heavily modded Impreza (500+ hp) like almost 2 years ago or so... (IE he was in the 11's)

And its also one of the best looking imprezas on the planet (custom made fender flares... *droooool*)

This weekend I will be running the car and should put in well in the 11's.
Gregg,

Couldn't make it out yesterday (Saturday) to the Battle of the Imports cause I was up pretty late Friday. Got up early today (Sunday 5:20a.m.) for my 2 hour journey to M.I.R and what do you know.....it's raining. And it'll be raining all day off and on. *sigh* Was looking forward to seeing your car run (And making some $$$$ bracket racing too ). L8Rs

Yes. Byron is one of the guys that the "I-club" fastest fail to mention. I saw him run at Carlsbad raceway one and half years ago getting kicked off the track. His car put down 500 to the wheels. He rarely ever posts on this forum. Nice guy.. And watching that Impreza do AWD burn outs sitting in the water box and make those noises caused me to sell my current project car (audi) and get the WRX. Everyone is still playing catch up including me.

that's awesome, I know your on the east coast but, if you get a wild ambition to come to California, Easy Street Motorsports will be giving away $1000.00 for the fastest Subaru at "Battle of the Imports" August 10 in Bakersfield California. Check out the thread in the "General Community" or Souther Californa forums

But that's an awesome time.

Any Subaru can enter as long as it is powered by Subaru. However we are going to possibly have a prize for the Fastest WRX depending on the turnout. We were origianlly going to make it a WRX only event but due to the overwhelming response we decided to make it a "All Subaru" event.
Rules are simple
Subaru vehicle
Subaru Powered
that's it.

I have never taken my car to the dyno but if I were to GUESS I would say approx. 300 to the wheels no NOS 370 or so with??

Kevin it was nice talking to you in Maryland.....yeah it sux that it rained on sunday but we did get some excellent no NOS passes in on sat...

My car is well into the 12's with no NOS and I was only running my street tires and getting 1.8 60foots at best...that track SUX!!!

Anyways I'm gettin my Wagon ready for this sunday (small local race at Great lakes)

I will also be bringing another wagon I built for a customer that I KNOW will go in the low 12's if not 11's also!!

It lives! ; )

Thumbs down CarlsBad

So and So ran that at Carlbad, huh? At least he could have run it on a track that wasn't downhill...

That's a really long drive for you Al. You would get to see the beautiful metropolis of Bakersfield though. One of California's bright spots and a major tourist attraction (gets the second most visitors after the Golden Gate Bridge).

Gregg,

Ya gonna show at Hot Import Nights in Dallas?

We're thinking we may have something like 20 Subarus showing!

Back to topic, pretty cool looking timeslip, indeed.

Cheers,

GoodFinder

Default s-afc tuning

Hey wickedwrx, I was wondering how you tuned the s-afc at that level of power. How has the fuel pump handled this increased duty? Thanks for any input, and good work

With the afc we took 10% of fuel out between 5,000 and 8,000 rpms. The helps lean out the rich mixture a bit. I have also added a fuel pump but still have stock injectors!!
