One other thing I forgot to mention - the 06 STi does indeed look better in person, the look is growing on me a bit (after not liking it at all from pictures). Have fun with it!

Yes, the auto-x is a real blast - I have been going frequently over the past year, and it is a great, safe, legal way to work out your need for speed!

Well, yes (are you keeping track???!! ). As you might note, I am doing quite a bit of auto-x, and this means lots of wheels and tires when you get serious about it. Since you asked, here is what my current/planned arrangement is:

Set 1: Original OEM RE070's - they are worn out for street use, but will still be good for practice and non-critical auto-x events until they cord. I will replace them either with my spare set of RE070's or maybe some all-seasons. I have not decided yet, as it depends upon the Kumho's I get on set 3.

Set 2: My Kumho V710 R-compound auto-x tires. Awesome tires!

Set 3: (New) Probably will put the new set of Kumho's (which I won this year) on this set. For daily driving use. Nice shiny new rims with no curb rash!

If this seems excessive - may be a tad, but not really if you look at really serious racers. I'm not there (yet...).
