tortilla flats to payson!
Quote:
i was figuring if i go up alone, i'd backtrack to ellsworth and take the 87. if i had a group, we'd either do that, or follow tortilla flats to the dam, and take that road to the 87. bit of dirt road tho, so if you're a cry baby about keeping they're car clean, we should backtrack to ellsworth instead. |

I might come along. I will set my alarm and if I wake up, well, good for me, I'll meet you at AZmills around 10. If I don't wake up, you probably won't see me, and I'm still sick.

there was 6 Subie's, an Evo, and 4 bikes. 2 of the subies were only there for part of the ride, then took off while we ate.
Was a good drive. Up the mountain was a pain with all the traffic we kept getting stuck behind.... but it was fun trying to find a relatively safe place to pass them Down was a great drive though... not too many cars got in the way and the couple that did were fairly easy to pass. |

yeah.... relatively safe..... so i learned a valuable lesson on that trip..... double stripe means DON'T pass. especially in a rapidly decreasing and then rapidly raising hairpin sideways at 50 mph. cool story, but not very fun..... the run down was nothing short of amazing, then we all went our different ways, and i went to payson. i averaged 80 up there, and 110-120 back. oh! i recorded a new top speed (on a closed course ofcourse ) 165 mph!!!!! I love my car more and more everytime I get into it. you subie guys really know how to have a good time though, kept me busy. oh, and lot 59 had a fairly decent turnout. some guy in an eclipse (alex?) busted out the highdef tv, and guitar hero. different.... pretty cool though.

That's is good stuff, sounds like I missed some good times, but I did not waste my morning, I now have HawkHPS pads on all four corners I think I will be getting the SS lines and filling up with Motul next payday - And for the first time I played that ghey @ss game ..guitar hero or whatever...... and uh um, well , ah um it is fun as hell - would have been a trip to see it in lot 59 though

i dont understand that game at all ! the time wasted getting good at the game could be spent actually learning how to play a real guitar. (yes ive played the game, yes i do play the guitar) plus... making real sexy sounds when actually playing is far more satisfying, and picks up chicks much better than five buttons and a "string toggle" it would be sweet to rig up an aux input so i could rock out like slash on the vw commercials...... if i was slash |
