Yes that is a subaru. It's also known as a 360. 45 hp is a little much most of them were more like 25 hp.

The two stroke had a self oiling system where you didnt' have to mix the gas before you filled the tank. you actually filled a separate tank.

I pick my 360 sedan up this weekend...I'll post pics after I get it cleaned up.

I have been saying that for a long time. I think one of these was the whole inspiration for that cartoon... Subaru--Scooby Doo. How else could Hanna Barbara come up with such a weird name for a dog?
