Hey Simpson (Kris?). Are you available tomorrow? I'm working from home and I can grab that AP holder from you anytime during the day. Is that possible?
Impromptu work happyhour got in the way of my grand introduction tonight.

Does anyone here run Street Prepared class in autoX? I was talking to an old friend and he mentioned that there's 1-2 WRX's that come out.

Hey chris I might not be coming back in time for that autocross.
If everything goes right I'm going to go to the wicked big meet in connecticut after the oc awd meet. Plan is to get a cheap room around new haven for cheap. Hope this storm doesn't mess things up. |

Yea its $2.99 for the app. Juat need to load it to the forum and your job is done. Just depends on what you think your time is worth i guess. I already have the app so the cost is already sunk for me.

i did however find the install for on our website. Sadly though, my version of phpbb is not supported. I will have to make my own app, thankfully tapatalk provides an api i can use to develop our own app.

It's not my 2.99 i'm worried about. It's just that the rest of you guys shouldn't have to pay 2.99 for an app to access our forums from your phone. looks like a nasioc style app is pretty simple to make.

on the way to work this morning I came up on a riced out looking honda. had a red hond emblem that lit up but I recongnized the color and then I recongnized the wheels.
It was the owner of RPM again, gave me a big ol thumbs up and gave one back. |

Well, if you guys want mobile integration, which i am sure you do, i may have to go with the same software that NASIOc runs on. Turns out the code i am using is so old it's essentially unsupported. Since i use a CMS that has the forums integrated, and it's not possible to upgrade, i would have to write the app from scratch to integrate it with tapatalk. By switching CMS' i can integrate tapatalk easily. The problem is though this site is to be more than just a forum. it is a website. It will have downloadable content, picture/video gallery's, news and articles, member focus pages, ect., ect., ect.....
If i include tapatalk or any other mobile functions other than just making the website have a .mobi aspect to it so that it will be viewed on phones as a mobile site with just icons, people will only use the app and rarely or never see any of the other possibly more important content, just like i already do with nasioc, lol..... I can however make an app that will take you to the website, that way you would have an icon for the site rather than having to type anything.... The point i'm getting at is we already have a forum really, nasioc. What we need locally is a website, which we have. The website is more intended to introduce us as a genuine organization of people local to this community, who wish to do more for it. As we grow, we shall display sponsors, events, ads, ect., with pictures and articles that would not be suitable to a forum application. A prime example of sponsorship would be the 103.7 thingy mentioned earlier. I can customize a website to usergroups as well. This will allow us to have a custom experience based on user status. Essentially this means the general public will not see our rants for example or sponsors won't see user videos and so on and so on. Certain areas of the website are visible to certain users and not to others. Several of you mentioned an interest in playing some online games. This also would be easily accomplished through modules on the website. You need to download Teamspeak 3 if you don't already have it, so we can communicate with each other in game. I will add a teamspeak module to the website that will display online users and allow you to connect to the ts3 server from there. http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads |
