Default Pennsylvania Spotted Thread

Well, I did a search for a Pennsylvania, PA Spotted Thread and found nothing ... So lets get one started people! I am tired of looking at the Mid Atlantic Impreza Club Spotted Thread and seeing everything BUT Pennsylvania people posting.

Starting us Off:
Last Night after Work in Elizabethtown,PA I came out of Giant Food Store to find a 2006 WRX parked Head to Head with my 2009 WRX, Both Mica Blue. From what I could see his WRX was extremly clean and had the MudFlaps and an SPT Sticker at the Bottom of Each Front Door Panel. While loading my car a gentlemen approached 2006 WRX to load his, we got talking about our cars and had a great conversation. Gotta love Subaru Owners, always willing to just Chat.

Then this morning I was stopping to get gas and there he was again! He was checking his tire pressure and filling them up a tad it looked like. I beeped at him while passing by and he waved. Once again a great community here.

Hey, great thread idea for our state! On friday 26 June I saw two wingless on 83 north just before the bridge to HGB. An '02-'03 wrb blue no scoop, no wing and a '04-'05 white, also no wing no scoop. Both had fmic installed I think. I was headed south. Also going into work last week (forget which day they all run together) a wrb blue '02-'03 wagon merged in next to me. He didn't seem to notice me though!

Don't you hate when like you get all excited to see another WRX, then you get beside them and they look at you like your nuts for waving. lol

Yeah, I guess some people just buy 'em for transit, or they look "cute" (gawd I hate that!). I think it's funny when the reaction is a bewildered wave back. They're wavin', they just don't know why!

I rememember my first wave.... It was awkward and it happened so quick considering I went from a wrangler to my 02 wagon you'd think I would be used to it.. Needless to say I now initiate the awkward wave lol.

Plus, it seems I see 5x the subaru when I'm driving the truck (4 door/long bed Chevy 2500). Then, people really look at me really weird as I wave to a lil' subaru!

Over here in Landenberg where I live, there's a white '02 with black wheels and tint and... a bodykit. Agile and Perrin stickers, if I'm not mistaken. Course, thats so close to the edge of PA I don't know if it counts.

I always post to the MAIC spotting thread, but it's always folks from VA. Nobody from PA seems to frequent it... But, sweet, I have a place to post now.

Silver Bugeye on Carlisle Pike on my way to work at the stop light by the Lexus/Toyota Dealership. I waved to you and you waved back.

Also I see a yellow Bugeye with a carbon fiber hood scoop in New cumberland all the time. You on these boards?

Hello from Wilkes-Barre, PA. 2008 WRX Sedan. Last night I destroyed Bambi on the highway and demolished my entire drivers side. I need a new/used headlight, carbon hood, fender, drivers door and drivers back door. Could anyone help me out with new/used pricing on the parts. I purchased my WRX new in Nov, 2008 so I'm new to NASIOC. I can't find what I'm looking for?!?!?!

You can try Subarugenuineparts.com for little things (I donno if they ship hoods/doors/fenders) but you save a good bit through them.

Saw a very clan looking black 08 sti driving north on 476 on the 24th, I think, gave a little peace sign.

I'm in a 08 2.5i dark grey, with a MLI (Major League Infidel) sticker on the rear bumper, driver's side

State College, PA spotting....

Saw a nice PSM bugeye wagon with big fogs, black oem wheels, exhaust parked at Aamco on Monday (never a good thing!!)

Also, exchanged waves with a gray hawkeye WRX or STI the other day on the Benner Pike....
