Default A/C Runs, cuts off then kicks in & out

No matter how long I've been running the car, when I first start the a/c, it runs fine(and cold) and runs for about 15-20 mins. Then it gets warmer, and every few mins, the compressor kicks on and immediately kicks back off.

If I cut it off and wait a few mins, it comes on for a few mins, then starts kicking on and off again.

Thoughts?

The refrigerant level is fine. Is there a temp/pressure sensor that controls the compressor?

Looking at the service manual, it seems there's a temp thermistor and a high and low pressure sensor.

Most likely a bad thermistor?

Or it could be your a/c clutch gone bad.
