We're waiting on a new dyno to be installed near us for a solid day of testing stock parts and a stock ecu, vs our header, catback, MooreSquirt EMS, etc. Were not happy with the inconsistent results we've been receiving so far, and we plan to do one day of testing to sign off on the header, etc before we start production. It's been a long road, but it's necessary before we release a product as a production piece.

The dyno should be in and ready by early September.

Yes, the twin scroll open dump downpipe fits all stock JDM setups.

EWGs on one of our JDM up-pipes would be a custom affair. We could surely do it, but you'd have to PM us directly for pricing and options.

it is set up for GD chassis. PM us and maybe we can work something out for test fitment!

You do not need to leave a deposit to get on the list. We can add you, and we'll provide ample time to pay in full for all members of the group buy. Say the word and we'll add ya!

Once my 6 speed in it might be time to do something ts stock location.

What happened to the evo turbos? I don't like any aftermarket larger hotside ts subaru turbos as i feel like they don't work.

Are those going to be the standard bung locations?
I think most would prefer stock (JDM) locations.

Where you have them look very awkward for putting any type of heat shield on.

We still have a pretty serious rally team running an EVO turbo setup. We didn't get great data from the testing (one car did 400 WHP on 3 cylinders, and another went 11.3 in the 1/4 at full weight...but we didn't come away with any conclusive dyno sheets), but we've been talking about revisiting it soon. We have one header in stock if someone wants to give it a try!

Added. There's an outside chance, but we're going to shoot for 10 for the better price break on our manufacturing.

The bung location is not jigged, so it could be moved with little issue. Thanks for the input; we'll look into it!

Please put me on the list for an open dump Moore Performance Tru-Divorce™ Downpipe with a cat. I need it to be USDM length and work with a blouch 16g XTR twinscroll.

Thanks,
Pete

un fortunately, i just blew my 5 speed so cant be buying any turbo kits any time soon. but if you guys are willing to do a killer (and i mean killer) deal on one now, i will donate my car to do any testing needed aswell as a shop up here who im sure would be willing to aid in testing. ;p

as for stock location TS, what turbos (other than the VF36) would you recomend with a larger hotside that dosnt suck? from what ive been seeing there hasnt been a good 8-10cm TS hotside stock location turbo out (ball bearing and billet wheel also prefered) that hasnt shown any kind of significant gains. which is why i am interested in a evo turbo insted.

Default A little help

I need help. I have a question about UEL headers making my nonturbo impreza sound nicer. I see people on youtube that have done it to their non turbo imprezas and it almost sounds almost like a wrx. im not trying to get that turbo sound, im just trying to get that nice subaru rumble that the wrxs have.
Professionals say its not possible but like i said earlier other people have put Uel headers and an intake on their non turbos and it sounds much much better, anyone have any info? Because i dont want to go ahead and buy all the parts only to find out it doesnt work. thanks

it wont fit 100% positive, any chance you'd sell that sweet dump flange if no plans on making it for a GR?

PM us and let us know if you need a complete kit with the turbo and all, or if you're just looking for the EVO setup header and up-pipe.

In terms of bolt-on JDM Subaru twin-scroll turbos, we've been seeing good things from the 18-20g stuff, but are still doing some testing. We also want to test with a bit more boost and some upgraded exhaust wheels/housings. This will probably go down in the fall.

You can play with muffler packing, resonators and even resonated exhaust tips to help simulate some of the "boxer rumble." But unfortunately a lot of it disappears once you go equal length. The Moore Performance equal length twin scroll setups and exhausts sound smoother than the unequal length setups, but there's a still a bit of throatiness there. But if you like that deep, deep burble, you may want to stay with an unequal configuration.

We can definitely sell you just the flange. PM us for pricing! I also notice that you're in the Pittsburgh area? We can also build a one-off version on your car at our shop in Bridgeville if that's an option. The address/number is in our sig!

They do not. Sorry. They're designed to work with the factory hardware and gaskets, however.

Unfortunately we can't help you out on this just yet. We will have a solution in the near future though.

Default Yip Yip - We have THREE for the Cat-Back Exhausts

Thanks Ryan,
Based on your feedback, I am definately looking forward to gettng these installed. Just let me know the 'when and how' details...

Personally, I am looking for the:
1) N/A (2006 Impreza Outback Sport Wagon - direct bolt-on to stock cat)
2) The 'Quiet' Muffler
3) The flattened oval tip

I can't wait... But I Will...
Steve

so im thinking for a winter build, a twin scroll GTX2867 T3 Twin scroll, or a GT3076 T3 Twin scroll. or a evo 9 or evo 6.5TME turbo. something with a good broad powerband that holds to redline, and makes no more than 400whp (idealy 350), but obviously with the gt30 have room to spare too. preferably keep the sti tmic or if i must a fmic but i want the "simplest" install possible. as in i remember you guys had issues with the evo turbos and tmic's because of the way the turbo was clocked or what ever.
