Need a CR estimate!!
Can someone help me estimate the CR on a 2.2 with Phase I DOHC hydraulic lifter heads+the old metal 96 headgaskets?????? stock pistons.
and then what would the same build with EJ22T pistons offer???

12 minutes is not enough time for a response.
You also need to supply far more data to do a CR calculation. Search for the other threads on similar topic and you will see what other data is needed |

About 3......
You need to give us 1. the chamber volume of the heads, 2. the volume of the piston/above the rings, and 3. the compressed thickness of the head gasket. Otherwise there is not too much we can do to help you. |

well like i said earlier we're assuming its all stock, and I'm just looking for some kind of rough estimate.

9.00:1 Cr for the stock ej22 pistons, 7.50:1 w/ EJ22T pistons.... but thats with a 1.5mm HG (.060'') which is the stock EJ25D HG, I think its also the same thickness as the ej22t, it is, just checked.

I think it will be around 8.9:1 based on stock EJ22E pistons, 1.37mm head gasket thickness and 46cc volume of the clover-style combustion chambers of the heads.
