Default Need some advice on foglight kit for 96 Impreza L

Hey everyone, this is my first post here so I just wanted to say Hi. Anyway, my question is about foglights. I have a 96 Impreza L and I really want to put foglights on it and I don't have the money to spend on a factory setup. So I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good less expensive universal or specific foglight kit. I'm on a REAL tight budget so I can't really afford anything from PIAA,etc. They don't have to be xenon super whites or anything like that, just something sensible. Thank you so much in advance!

I've seen some HELLA lights in www.jcwhitney.com
HELLA 500: size 6-3/8" $75 a pair

or made by hella hid fogs $600

Do a search, type in: fog lights
You'll probably find something better.

Hella's are fine, but you will need mounting brackets and a harness too. The cheapest way to do this would be to wait and fine someone selling them on the classified forum, should be less than $100 for the whole shebang.
The next best would be to go to subaruparts.com and see how much the factory setup goes for.

Wink

well factory for a 96 is going to be pretty costly...

try searing used car parts internet sites...
there are loads of them...

use your fave search engine and search for
"used car parts"

hope this helps... it's been a great help to me!
good luck

Anyway, another question, you think a foglight for a 95 Impreza will fit my 96?

most likely. Parts are generally interchangeable for 93-96, 97-01.
with a few exceptions here and there.
