Maybe someday I will be allowed to post my own thread. BTW, cool subaru kakarakis. I bet most of these guys have stage 1 or two, whatever that means.
Less words, more proof.

Post up results, people will ask the questions. Just wait for it.

Kakarakis has done what not many yet (if any) have done and despite the initial language barrier people caught on.

Although repect should be given at the outset, all the many many immature people before you have jaded many around here. New members see that and automatically believe thats how it is all the time and jump right in.

There are some around here who give constructive criticism, and give it to help.

Others criticize for entertainment, jealousy etc. Just filter it and pick out the good parts, ignore the rest.

Respect needs to be earned, and that takes time, accomplishment or both.

Again, this is one very nice car! You are getting amazing results. This is making kids dreams for years to come. Thanks for sharing your car with this community.

That intake mainfold is pretty unique, the tube leading to the outside seems small, great creativity on everything,

do you know the weight of the car during a run?

(if it sticks on 46psi, considering weight & 1550 crank hp, what do all the calculation junkies think this will come out to? 7.9 at the slowest I guess,

Ali, fly the brz out to greece

I don't understand why people are butthurt about the way this thread was responded to in the first place. It's illogical to start a thread and just say "Derpa derp my subaru runs 5 sec quarter mile derp". If he would have came out from the gates posting the pictures and stating mods then it would have been a viable thread. People are butthurt about other people being butthurt and it hurts my head.

With that being said, this car is amazing. Can't say I have seen quite a setup like this before with all of the unique modifications. Love to see more and more of this thing as it grows.

Btw, can we get some pictures of how you did your double timing belt setup and possibly some more info on some of the other custom mods you have done?

I read through this thread in the office and had a hard time not laughing. I was honestly on par with the first page "Informative...neeeeext" but thought some funny comments would come from the more hot headed members. He really turned the tables on everybody and the best part was he wasn't even an a$$-O about it (which he would have been more than entitled to be). That is a spectacular car, really cool.

What I am actually more jealous of than the car is the fact that he lives in a place where driving something like this is legal. In Mass I start shaking in my boots when I think about how I am going to pass inspection with my catted TBE...

Very cool build kakarakis. I guess you can still build cool cars in a country that is broke. Please pm me how this is done, so I know how to do it when the world realizes the US is too. Look forward to updates.

Very nice car! I was watching your runs and it doesn't look like you are pulling your chute? What brakes are you using? Does your cage have to be certified over there to go that fast?

It looks to me like the cylinders are pinned and not a closed deck!

Yeah they look to be one piece but I'll bet they're billet machined and not cast!

not planning on ever needing these ti rods, more curious. love hearing the crazy amounts people pay for exotic parts.

ps those look like 11mm studs, wonder how they managed to get them to handle 46psi and 1650hp????????????????????????

Hey Kakarakis, Have you gotten it out to the track on full boost yet?

Pretty darn amazing build! If you have shots of the build in process I'm sure I can speak for many in that we would love to see them?

Not sure who makes these but I did look at some for my car, $2,500/rod and weighing in at 167g, I quickly looked the other way.

Probably Extreme Tuners. Have a guy here where I live with an Evo that runs Extreme Tuners parts. Crazy expensive and so far not very promising results.

I don't know what secrets they have in Greece but unless they weld the heads to the blocks I can't see 11mm studs with standing 1650hp on a ej motor, I hope I'm wrong though.

I don't think that photo are of his parts necessarily so who knows what size heads studs Kakarakis has on his motor.

It sounds like they might be made of a more exotic tool steel with higher tensile strength, it's can be a fine line there with the brittleness of HS tool steels, balancing the hardness to toughness and tensile strength. Head studs have to be good "big time" in one value and that is tensile strength! I'm sure they thought about all of that considering the cost of this exotic build.

Maybe Kakarakis will share that info!
