When I walked in to order my Sti they tried to sell me on all the extras and I kindly said no thank you. They continued to try to sell me a bunch of spt parts.... So I told the sales man I will take crank widows

Hey everyone! I am looking to place an order on a STI sedan base model. With navi and dimming mirror with homelink

So far I have talked with a few dealers and received my first price today. With just those options he gave me a price of $34,888. Is this good? Seems like I can maybe get this price with more options like others have?

Got another price of $34,819 and otd would be $39k

How should I go about getting free options? I don't really care for anything else but free or cheap is always good

Thanks!! I am hoping to order this week!!

According to Edmunds TMV, thats pretty good pricing. Be sure to ask for an itemized quote that list tax, title, license, cost of options, destination fee, etc.

http://www.edmunds.com/car-buying/ed...ic-number.html

When I was looking for a car initially, I utilized this method: http://lifehacker.com/5540687/a-smar...r-car-shopping
I went to 8-10 different dealers around my area.

Good luck! Other than that, search around the forums. Theres a thread somewhere that list what people paid for and you can compare.

It is really dependent from area to area as noted in this sticky: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=718033

This is helpful as well: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1222331

Atleast find one that throws in the short shift for free if anything. And tbh thats a decent price but you can get lower. If you want tint try to get tint at dealer cost, I'm getting mine for like 100-150ish for full around 30% tint.

And if your getting an STI, save yourself some CHIP RAGE!!!! and get the 3M film on the front of your car.

Did you get the navi? Just curious because everyone else has been posting estimates of late October/early November and you're the first I saw for December. Funny how we're both making the jump to our first Subies from Accords.

Nope no navi, just base model with some accessories. They actually didn't tell me an ETA, i just ordered. Longer it takes, the less I have to finance. Actually coming off an integra gsr , sold that, now driving my sisters old car till the WRX gets here

Speaking of that,

Any chance that you guys do this at Evanston Subaru Mike?

I would be fairly interested in tint and 3M guard

Well I'm glad I dont have to purchase fogs separate because I ordered the nav. When the dealer was gonna call me to let me know they have the VIN I was gonna have them order a fog kit to install when the car arrives. Now I guess I don't have to!

Does anyone know if you are expecting your '13 wrx end of september beginning of october, is it coming in the first shipment of '13 wrxs or has the first shipment already came? AZ hasn't had any '13s yet, so i don't know if i'll be getting it in the first shipment to hit here.

I see people saying they are paying invoice, little over, little under. What exactly is the invoice on a new wrx? I'm thinking about ditching our GM cars and coming back to Subaru for our family cars.

First shipment has already come and gone. There are people on here who ordered a 2012 but missed the order cutoff so they were ordered 2013's. A lot of those people have theirs already and some dealerships have '13 WRX's and STi's in stock as well.

My dealer is rerouting my WRX from another destination. They were able to find some that were in transit and we yoinked one for me.

This is going to be my first Subie after a couple of MS3's. Gonna miss the rowdiness and wildness of the 3, but looking forward to having a better behaved vehicle at this point in my life.

ETA is around 9/20. Very excited.

My SWP sedan should be here on the 20th. This will be my first (at least first that I bought for myself) Sub...so I'm not sleeping for the next couple weeks.

LOL, you too?? I'm getting rid of my 2007 Black Mica Mazdaspeed3 as well. TBH the only thing that I'm going to miss is my 50/50 BoV as I will not be running anything but a BPV on my STI.

What wrx did u get, color / options / etc. I got a PBP STI Sedan with a couple things on it, SPT Exhaust and boost gauge, short shift, etc.
