Alternative to replacing clear protective film on rear doors?
Hey all - I just had my 2011 SWP WRX detailed and I asked the detailer to remove the protective film on the rear doors/quarter panels/side skirts because there was a ton of dirt under the edges that was impossible to remove (picture below). I called Subaru and they want $200 for a new set of these... does anyone know of a cheaper alternative? I saw rolls of 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film on ebay for much less, but I would need to cut them to the right shapes and I'm not sure how I would do that. Does anyone sell an aftermarket kit at a lower cost? Thanks!

do you still have the shape of the oem piece? look into the 3m spray clear bra.... 15-20$ make a template of the same size and shape and spray it on.... only thing is it only lasts about a year but for 15-20? a can of this stuff can go a long LONG way!
