What you have are made for stock cross bars for cars that come with a stock rack. You need the round bar mounts that come with the powderhound. If you have your stock box, you may find them in there. The ones you have are not included in the powderhound purchase. These are:

You'll see that they have these little pieces on the inside that can be cut out to be used on Thule square bars as well.

Eventually I'll be getting a fork-mount bike holder and a board holder.

My medium Inno fairing. Original decal removed using razor blade. New decal applied ($4.99 EBay)

Has anyone had any issues with scratching due to their fairing's feet(?) touching the roof of the car?

The Inno Fairing includes clear decals to stick beneath each foot where it contacts the car. So no scratches =)

Yeah I saw that, but didn't like the thought of applying it to the paint and having problems removing it later. Might just have to give in on that part.

No no. You apply them to the feet of the fairing

Hmm.... I'll have to check my box when I go home for lunch... Pretty sure my PowderHound came with the mounts that I posted, I can't remember buying those mounts anyways.

Maybe I do have them and just didn't realize it... If that's the case... Sure, it'd be easy to mount them then without drilling, etc. like I was thinking about doing.

Thanks!

Just to clarify... Looks like Yakima changed their standard mounts that come with the racks... Mine only have the "universal" ones (that I pictured above), vs the ones that krazy posted. Thus the confusion.

Will be getting a set of the older style mounts so that I can attach to the LoadWarrior and we'll see how it looks.

Yea my fairing on both my Subi's marked up the roof some. Not really scratches so much but it dulled the clear coat. I shifted my fairing forward onto the winshield and problem solved.

Yeah I was afraid that something like that with the clear coat would happen. I have the included clear pieces on the base of the feet as suggested, even though the instructions said to place them on the roof itself. I think the clear film will still be somewhat abrasive this way though.

I really like the looks of yours. You mind taking measurements in your free time?
Looks bigger than a 38" to me, possibly a 44"?Assuming your cross bars are 48"(based on the amount of over hang), the fairings looks to be only a bit shorter

Xluben's looks like the 44". The Inno medium is 38-39" and now Thule and Yakima came out with 38" ones. The 38 will sit just between the feet and the 44 will extend to the edge of the car/feet. If you scroll through most 08's have the Inno medium. Look at those, if you want it longer go with a 44"
