Don't know. 8K is a pretty high crossover frequency. Usually it's that high when the slope of the cutoff isn't steep (6db/octave). A better crossover would have a steeper slope (12db/octave or better), then they could do a crossover at 4K or lower and get more music into the tweeter. The stock tweeter is just plain cheap.

I didn't check the capacitor on the upgrade Kicker tweeters before I installed them. If anybody has them on the way, maybe you could post the ohms rating and the numbers on the capacitor before you install them.

got my car torn apart right now in an attempt to install my sirius tuner/forester radio. everything works as advertised, however the old style install kit doesn't work with our setup. with the redesign, i can't place the tuner on top of the radio with the brackets, it interferes with the vents. I might have to do double sided tape or fab up some brackets to get this installed.

i was hoping for easy

Default Rear suspension

A friend was following me the other day and asked what was wrong with my rear tires. He said they looked like they're tipped in. I looked at the car in the parking lot and the rear tires indeed look like they are canted in at the top. It's as if I have a heavy load in the hatch. Almost a month ago I had measured the clearance between the top of the tires and the wheel arch and responded to a post by auskip07. Well, repeating that measurement today seems to indicate that the rear has settled down by 1/2 to 3/4".

Auskip07, perhaps this is what you posted about originally and I didn't see until there were some miles on my suspension. I'm curious if anyone else has seen this.

Did you figure out what what causing this? My 2012 impreza isn't doing it but my dad's 2012 is with 7,000 miles. I noticed also when this happens the passenger air bag light switches to OFF when there is a passenger. Obviously not good.

You know by changing the ride height you likely changed the geometry of the suspension thus needing an alignment? I know this is the case with the toe adjustment on the front suspension.

My 2012 Impreza got its first oil and filter change thursday 5/24. I had reported in an earlier post that when opening and closing the hood it was rubbing the paint off of a part of the drivers side front fender. The dealer looked at it and had their body shop repair it. The fender was too high and needed to be lowered. they repainted the fender and it looks great. The dealership did a great job. I am pleased with them.

Yes yes im well aware of what lifting and lowering a vehicle does to Camber and how to fix and look for problems. I dont appear to have any negative camber because of how small the lift is. So im going to roll with it and maybe see if i can adjust the spacer a little more when it settles.

Ebay. cheap aluminum. Wished it was heavier but i like the way it feels. The knob came first. 29th (tuesday) for the perrin then my weekends are packed for the next couple weeks. (i thought i already told you that?)

Any advice on removing the center console? If i can find out how that would make the install quicker thus the write up will come quicker.

Not just camber. If you read my post I mentioned toe. It may affect the rear as it certainly does for the front.

Just saw this post. mine has looked low since i got the car so it must have settled on the lot while waiting to get picked up. These spacers have fixed the problem if i was going to do this again i would zip tie the spacers to the Coils to ensure they would stay put.

I can seem to eye suspensions pretty good. Coming from a sports car background ive done my fair share of suspensions so i was less than pleased with the ass down look of my subaru.

First couple of days i snapped this pic and didnt think much of it after seeing it at this angle.

Had my car for 3 1/2 days, and the check engine light just came on. It's solid, not blinking, and the service rep told me it was fine to keep driving it until Tuesday when I'll bring it in.

I took it to oreilly to get it scanned and got code P000A. According to this site http://www.dtcdecode.com/P000A :

Code: P000A
Category: Powertrain
Definition: A Camshaft Position Slow Response Bank 1

No idea what that means....

Im not sure how well you know the engine but im taking a guess that these sensors are located at the front of the engine on the ends with a circular cap covering them. one is located under the oil filter assembly. you can reach it easily

Yup, that's them (I got a copy of the service manual off ebay just now and checked). I checked the connectors for the camshaft position sensors and oil control solenoids and everything seemed fine, but now the light's off! Thanks for your advice.

I'm reading 3.6 ohms for the kicker tweeters. The capacitor is glued in and I can barely see the rating; looks like it's either 4.1 or 4.7 uF (the top is cut off).
