Default WRX valve adjustment

I tried searching here and found nothing. And I can't find any mention of it in the owner's manual either.
The WRX has solid lifters. At what mileage is it recommended that they be adjusted?

I couldn't find any time frame listed in the service manual, althugh they give you detailed specs on the min/max values.

iirc, the valve in the wrx are hydraulics and does not require adjustment, however, it can be shimmed.....chances are, this is not going to be required for a long time, if ever

The lifters are solid. The service manual contains an adjustment procedure although no service interval is specified. I have seen reference posted to an interval of 105K miles but I don't have any links to back that up.

That's great if that's really the case.
I was thinking more along the lines of 60K miles.

Default for EJ25D

The official word for EJ25D is a *check* of valve clearances at 105k miles. No adjustment interval is specified. Perhaps EJ20 is similar....

Does the EJ25D have solid or hydraulic lifters?

don't know about the D has solid lifters. My advice is to have them checked if they get noisy(er). I've had mine checked/adjusted in association with some other work for $96.
