Question another CE light question, please dont flame me

ok, the car was fine, till i put on borla headers. now i get that annoying check engine light. i have an idea that it could be the o2 sensors acting up. i also know that there was a recall on the o2 sensors for MY00 and down. would there be a recall for MY 01? also is there a way for a permanent fix on that check engine light. i have already reseted the ecu twice, but the light comes back. now i just leave it alone hoping it goes away. any help would rally be appreciated.

it might be the borla headers. don't know for sure. you should do a search. this has been brought up in the past before.

You could go to the dealer and have them scan it, that should tell you what's bitching.

I had the same problem with my Borla Header. I took it to the dealership and it was running lean. They replaced the front o2 sensor and the problem went away.
